    Having owned multiple DJI UAV’s in the past and owning a aerial photography business I knew I wanted to get the Mavic 2 Pro. I own a phantom 4 Pro and wanted something with Almost the same camera quality In the case the phantom 4 Pro needed any maintenance. Upon getting the Mavic 2 I noticed there is lots of grain in the camera no matter the setting. ISO, shutter, aperture. What not. Will be trying to warranty it though DJI or Best Buy. I know I just got unlucky with a lemon with many friends who have had no issues with theirs. I would recommend this to anyone, just make sure everything works right before your warranty runs out.

    I sent my drone in on 9/10/2020, was told to pick it up on 9/25/2020. Device was sent out on 9/29/2020 after a million calls! Still no word on repairs. I strongly advise anyone to turn down the geeks 400.00 insurance and go with DJI’s manufactures insurance or suffer.

    Have had several instance of severe bugs, one resulting in a loss of control. One time my DJI Smart Controller decided it was a good time to do a firmware update in the middle of a flight. So I had to hope my aircraft had enough battery to hover where it was while the remote did it's own thing without my permission... Most recently my aircraft decided to land on its own (not because of battery or RTH), only thing is, it was a couple hundred feet in the air when it shut off the motors.... Now my drone is in for repair at DJI, and checking the progress or getting ahold of anybody is nearly impossible because the website is just as buggy as their drones and constantly having issues and nobody responds to their support.... AVOID DJI!!!

    After much excitement to receive my MAVIC-2 PRO, much to my disappointment the aircraft/drone could never connect to my phone or even the controller. After spending at least 8 hours trying to get it to connect and simply fly I gave up and boxed it up and will be returning it to Best Buy

    My Drone will not update. I have sent it in twice upon their recommendation but when it gets to the repair site they say their is nothing wrong. But I can't talk to the people actually doing the repairs. This has been going on for two months. It's under warranty and they are still not willing to send me a replacement. They really don't seem to care. Their technical support is the worst I have experienced.

    Great drone, the warranty is a joke. I spent an extra 450 dollars to have the ability to replace the drone if damaged right away...no questions asked. Now I find out that when I really need this service, Best Buy cannot replace the drone but instead will have it serviced with a projected month to 5 week turn-around time. Definitely not worth the cost of the warranty. What a complete waste of money for this service.

    With exceptional credit score with all 3 credit reporting agencies Equifax, Exerain an Trans Best Buy failed miserably to get the credit approval. With FICO Score 835 and above 780 with other credit reporting agencies. Fry Electronics is my preferred vendor!!!! Great to see Best Buy loose revenue due to their carelessness !!!!!!!!!!

    I lost my drone next to the ocean after it went out over the waves. The riptide was enormous and decided not to retrieve else my life would be lost. After DJI said they understood and would work with me, now they will not help at all. If your drone lands in a tree or someone else's land, you are out $1500. (Yes I had CareRefresh from DJI)

      Hey Gold. Glad to hear you're safe. It's very important to fly with extreme caution when, in case of an accident, your drone is unretrievable. Under DJI Care Refresh, your drone can only be replaced or repaired when it is able to be retrieved, but often times after an accident review our service team will provide options to make getting a drone back in the air a lot easier.     Image descent. There is a problem w this drone. I bought this drone for my brother, for some reason this drone will get disconnected from the control and it will crash. The manufacturer has the worst costumer service.

    Compass, IMU, and windings in the perm mag motors

    I inspected the UAS when I opened it, and the windings on the motors are poorly wrapped, the IMU seems to have sinuses all the time, and the compass never truly calibrates. I’m going to exchange for a new one.

    WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. After the drone crashed due to the obstacle avoidance system not working, dji failed to acknowledge the issue. It's been 5 months now that I've been trying to get the drone repaired. Of course they have no phone number so you have to deal with hours of text messaging a service rep... I received multiple promises of a phone call AND email follow up from a higher up, which never came. Then they returned the drone unrepaired while I was waiting for them to respond as they promised. The drone is now back with dji and i'm starting the process all over. It's seriously the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. I finally bit the bullet and just paid the repair fee and will never purchase another product from them. Think twice before buying a dji product.

    Good luck finding the drone

    I purchased two of the DJI Mavic Pro 2 and they do everything they say they will do however one big flaw. I have lost two DJI Mavic Pro 2 and 1 Phantom 4. When I went to have the drone take off in a clear area no building around it went up and 15 seconds later it was gone. The remote disconnected from it and never saw it again. Naturally some would blame this on being tethered to a phone but I tried a brand new phone the third time and 4 months later I lost my last Mavic Pro 2. I am not pleased with DJI customer support on this as they take no ownership over lost items. Do know that this is an expensive hobby but I am going to stick with the Mavic Airs going forward until DJI fixes there problems I can get two Airs for the price of one Pro and the quality of the photos and videos I have noticed are much nicer.
