I've had a chance to play with this drone for about a week now. It's incredibly easy to fly. I'm still learning where all the settings are. But I've flown it about 2.5 miles away from the starting home point. I haven't seen the obstacle avoidance yet in action, but I'm really glad the feature is there. I only have one issue so far with this drone. I recommend you do not use the DJI Go 4 app on your iPhone. This app is loaded with trackers, and you're in for the biggest invasion of your privacy, if you use this on your iPhone. I've used it twice, and I've been bombarded with telemarketer calls and texts since. If you use the disconnect app, it won't block all these trackers by default. The ones it does block, interfere with the map in the app. I highly recommend considering the smart controller. Otherwise you should use a tablet to run the app, that doesn't contain your phone number, contact list, or any other personal information. You can get a bracket to hold your tablet, and an extension cable on Amazon. Otherwise this is a great product.

I purchased this drone and the first flight was great, howevere every subsequent flight was plagued with more and more issues. There were also constant software updates the only seemed to make the connectivity issues worse. After spending several hours on the with DJI customer service (who were to say the least very unhelpful) I decided to return this item.

Right out of the box, product was easy to fly, intuitive, and very sleek looking. However, since then, have had some issues linking to the drone when out in the woods and at parks. Currently still trying to resolve.

This is an upgrade for me from the DJI Mavic Pro. Still early on and I am not impressed with the functional characteristics compared to the Mavic Pro. Camera is much improved, awesome detail

I love the picture given by the drone. Wish it had a zoom feature. Also the side sensors only work in tripod and active track be careful!!!

This drone is nice however the Mavic Air 2 was cheaper and has more features.

Waiting for nicer weather to use. I think the price was too high, but should be a nice product.

Took amazing pictures and what seemed like video as well. When uploaded to laptop the video is choppy. Got on some forums and it’s a known issue. Not sure if it’s software related but too many others with the same issue. Not 100% happy with it but maybe DJI can make it right by fixing the problem or exchanging for another new device that doesn’t have these issues.

Start up instructions are very poor. Had to get on you-tube to see how to set up the drone. And then the controller would not turn on. All my research showed the DJI Mavic Pro to be the best drone, but I will have to wait until I fly it before reommending.

Quality is outstanding but value is worth questioning.

Was told by Best Buy that it was bulletproof and my drone went a wall and crashed because of the most comment problems the gimbal failure which made it a wall into a crowd of people almost heating multiple people and now I cannot fix my drone with no warranty

this once a very good while it worked, before flight it had full of battery and when it flew for a while the battery died on me and i lost the device and it’s untraceable.

Trying to give this a chance but the whole "Mag Interference" in mid flight is the most frustrating thing about this drone. Especially when your flying mid flight and your display losses signal and your not able to see a thing.

Bought for son...he loves it. But had to send back within first month. Plus had to pay additional warranty to make sure on any additional issues. Alot of money on a purchase to have problem so quick.... But my son does love it

This purchase was for my husband. It flies well. Easy to maneuver. The video is not smooth. It may be a software problem. We’re looking into it

I’m kind of disappointed fly good but doesn’t fly as far or fast as I was told

I returend mine back as I eventually found value for money in air 2

It is ok, although you need a lot of permissions to be able to fly it

With the new FAA laws, it makes it nearly impossible to fly any drone these days. The Spark is great, but getting it into the air is another issue unless you want to get hit with FAA fines for use.
