This thermostat was very easy to install. It took a but of patience and effort to set it up for online use as the router wasn't allowing it to connect to the Ecobee website. Once it finally connected it worked perfectly.

I really like the easy of the ecobee 3. It’s very easy to install and the accompanying app makes it use fun...if a thermostat can be fun.

We've had these in our past 2 homes and 1 apartment. Knew it was one of the first upgrades we needed when we bought our new house. The lite version is great if you already have alexa's throughout the house like we do. I didn't see the need in spending extra for a crappy speaker and an additional listening point. Other than that, it's as expected and an upgrade I would recommend to anyone.

I’ve owned multiple connected TStats over the last few years. This one is light years ahead of even the most recent one I’ve owned. Super easy to install and setup and I love the smart home/away feature but wish it worked without a room sensor and just from the thermostat alone. It recognizes motion, but doesn’t operate the smart home/away unless you have a connected room sensor. Which is an added cost. That’s my only complaint. I use it in a second zone that we don’t use much and set it to away all the time and it recognizes when we’re in the room and sets to our home comfort setting. Then goes back to away after we leave the room for the day. Literally never have to touch it. Anyone looking for a connected thermostat should put this one at the top of their list.

What a great looking and working unit. Easy to install, setup and manage thru the ap. Easily connected to google home. Highly recommended!!

Reasonable price, works very well and looks great.

Just finally got one with an Ameren instant rebate which made it even more of a now brainer to get it. Took only about 15 minutes to get it fully setup once wired up and it works just as advertised . I control mine with Alexa and it makes it so i can adjust it by voice or anywhere with an internet connection. Might later add a room sensor too if there is a sale. If it is correct, it can save me 10% or more on my power bill !!!

First smart thermostat for me works great with apple HomeKit, can be anywhere and manage tempature.

Relatively straight forward and easy installation. It does not require a “c” wire when used with the included adaptor. Instruction are really good. Works great with the app and it’s easy to set up. It comes with an adaptor plate to hide any screw holes or different color paint that was behind your older and perhaps larger thermostat. I used the included backplate and painted it to blend in with the color of the wall it’s on. The display stays lit by default but can be set to turn off after a few minutes after standing in front of it. Displays current temperature in the house, set temperature and also humidity in the house. I like it.

This ecobee 3 works great. Easy to install and the app is very user friendly. Love the idea that I can control from anywhere.

This was easy to install, looks great and easy to use. Connects to wifi easily and with the app you can manage the thermostat from anywhere!

It was easy to install and came with very good guide to go step by step. Easy to use and thermostat and phone app interface are similar which helps it keeping usage easy.

Great, simple install works great. I like I can lock it and change the temperature remotely.

Needed to put a cross wire between Rh and Rc to get it working. Product works well and was cheaper than Nest product. Hooking up to Alexa was easy and works as advertised. Was able to set temp remotely from 2k miles away.

Set up was so easy and function is perfect. We moved from Nest thermostat.

I really like this smart thermostat! Works with home kit, and Alexa. I had to use the power pack that it comes with but wasn’t too hard to set up and attach to the furnace. Called customer service and they were very helpful regarding setup. Works great with both Home kit and Alexa FYI you can dim the brightness of the screen and adjust the screen timeout from the thermostat itself but not through your iPhone or iPad

I'm not a technical person at all but was still able to install on my furnace. Very simple to use.
