The ecobee thermostat works great! The app is easy to install and easy to setup with the app. I can easily change the thermostat with my phone.

This is my second time purchasing the ecobee 3 lite thermostat. I sold my house so I had to buy a new one for the new house. That's how much I liked it. I had to get another one.

It's a good thermostat especially the fact it works really well with the Amazon Echo. My only problem with it is when I am walking past the ecobee, there are times I just want to manually change the temp. Unfortunately, ecobee does not make it very easy... you have to hold your finger on the unit for a few seconds before it responds and then you have to swipe your finger up or down depending on the temp you want. Even when you do that it still doesn't seem to go to the temp you want it to go to. Very weird and confusing. That's why I just tell Alexa to change the temp to what I want it to be. That's seems to work just fine. All in all it's good!

Very easy to use and saved us a lot of money on the learn settings of the smart thermostat. This also hooked up to our Alexa very easy to . I would recommend this to anybody

I love being able to set a schedule and control the temperature from my phone. I can't speak to the amount you save yet, since I run the AC a lot, but I like it. The reason I give it a 4 and not a 5, is because the interface for choosing the schedule could be better. Minor gripe, though.

Initially this thing worked on because we installed it in the winter. Now that summer is hitting and we are using the AC, it is a nightmare. Look on line before buying ECOBEE and see all the complaints of thermostats reading in the 80's and 90's when the inside temp is in the low 70 or lower. This appears to be a chronic problem for these that we were not aware of and Ecobee IS aware of. We has a standard thermostat in the house (GE I think) and decided to go smart with the NEST which worked very well. When a lightning strike in the area fried that I went with ECOBEE because of reviews and features...not a good change. They will give you a bunch of reason why these things get a bad reading and keep your AC running forever, but there is no real fix unless you go to another brand. I have used a thermo scanner and there is NO reason this thing should be reading temps in the mid 80's to mid 90's inside my home mounted to a wall in the center of the house...but here we are and there is no fix for it.

I bought a Nest thermostat years ago, anticipating that it would eventually become Apple HomeKit compatible. Enter Google, purchasing Nest and making any future Apple compatibility a pipe dream. Battery problems with the Nest got me shopping for Thermostats again. All the reviews praised the Ecobee, and it’s out-of-box Apple compatibility made this a no-brainer. It’s better looking, easier to operate, and is everything I’m looking for in a smart thermostat. Makes the Nest feel so “last decade.”
