I spend a lot of time away from home, but want to be comfortable while home. Saving money by being energy efficient is also a priority. The ecobee is feature packed for the price when compared to the competition. It can operate as a regular thermostat or be very automated. I thought my needs fell somewhere in between, but after the initial setup I haven't needed to touch it. I use the comfort settings, Alexa and IFTTT.

I'm so happy we purchased this thermostat! The installation was easy but we needed to call customer service because it wasn't working right. It was because I wired it wrong. Customer service was awesome! Take pictures of your wiring before you put the cover back on so that if you need to call you can tema them the pictures. Truly awesome!! The thing I like the best about this thermostat is that when I'm in bed at night, I can adjust the temperature from my phone. So happy we purchased this!

This is our first "smart" home device. It was easy to install, configure, and operate and the price was right.

I recently set the ecobee3 lite up at my home. I've enjoyed being able to check the temperature remotely via the app or through Siri. Installation was easy enough, and the software is very user friendly. Thanks to some warm fall weather I haven't had to test out the programmable temperatures too much but the manual made it seem pretty easy to do.

Great thermostat for setting the temperature where you want it to be. Only problem I've had so far is with the scheduling feature, but likely need to work out the kinks with Ecobee customer service.

The ecobee thermostat is an awesome smart home device. It would be nice to allow more than one iPhone to connect and control it using the Home app. Maybe I’m not “smart” enough to figure it out.

Was researching between this model and nest. Decided to go with the ecobee for the design and interface. It's nice you can control this with your smartphone and it is now google assistant enabled.
