They are very convenient and work great. The added technology with Alexa is fun to use, however, I think she is spying on us times because she'll light up for no reason.

This thermostat has a nice phone app. I especially like the remote sensors to control the temperature of the room your in.

Excellent product. After support on line it was very easy to install. Without the support I don't think it would be possible

Got this thermostat to better control the room temperature in one of my bedrooms. Seems to be working so far.

Easy set of for DIY novices. Takes some getting used to with the voice commands but works perfectly after that.

UI of the app is just so-so. Not very convenient to switch on-off, when compared to Nest. But the deal was great though. worth it.

Super design, very good functionality - good smart algorithm when using sensors

Works pretty well. That said if you live in a humid area, expect that the device may shut off due to the floater device in the A/C unit. This is common, and somewhat annoying, but it will shut off, and then reboot to save the device. Just don’t run the A/C to low. Also, hope that no one has used your email address to set up their own device. Even if inadvertently, there is nothing that ecobee can do to discontinue their service. With your email.

Installation was easy on a new HVAC system. We've been using for 1 month now and are impressed with the ease of programming and use. The Alexa feature is nice to get a morning weather update and play some music, as well as controlling the temperature with voice command. Phone monitoring and control from the App is also useful and consistent. We are going to continue to use and will add a second control for the other HVAC unit if we continue to be impressed. Good purchase!

I switched from a Nest to two Ecobees when we moved. The set-up was a little more involved because my system didn't have a C wire, but installing the power extender kit was very simple and both units were up and running is about 20 minutes. The initial set-up of the thermostat itself was more in-depth that the Nest, but I do like that this unit has the ability to schedule each day and you can even set-up you vacation schedules in advance. Also, having Alexa built-in is a neat feature, as well as being able to pull up the week's forecast right on the screen with a touch of a button.

Works Great! Love that it connects to wifi. Really helps to maintain comfort in the house. Was easy to install.

Installed my Ecobee 4 (3 was no longer available and 4 was same price) in July. Took a while for the Home IQ on the app to populate data, but showed that I was saving 2-5% with my system. It knows when to turn on the fan and when to turn on the AC. My old thermostat only allowed 1 function to be set at a time. This will automatically run the fan without the AC and no need to switch back. Alexa is nice to have, but not really worth the extra price. Fortunately, the 4 was the same price as the 3.

Love that we can control the temperature from wherever we are at. We also listen to music on it. Great investment

Owned this same product in our first home and liked it. Easy to use. Easy to install. Would buy again.

I bought this before reading reviews because there were rebates with my local electric company...very happy and love it!
