This thermostat works great but you have a 5 degree gap between heat and cold which surprised me, I thought you could just set one temperature and it would regulate the furnace and a/c within a couple of degrees, but that’s not the case!!! other than that it works great and ALEXA WOKS GREAT!!

Awesome thermostat. Would highly recommended it. I never thought I would be able to play jeopardy with my thermostat. Also love the separate room sensor since my two story house only has one thermostat downstairs. Helps with keeping upstairs from getting too hot or cold and is nice to have in the baby’s room.

Alexa has been a bit finicky with responding to commands. The thermostat has disconnected from WiFi several time and had to be reconnected as if setting up for the first time. Screen sometimes goes black and won’t respond to touch or motion.

I compared reviews of the ecobee4 and the Nest, and my conclusion was that I would prefer the ecobee4. I am very happy with my choice. There are minor things that I'm still learning, but I am delighted with my ecobee4 and recommend it.

Honestly it is a little too complex to use. Once it’s set up it’s good. Alexa is limited on it so I turned her off and just use a dot instead. I like the reminders to change the filters because I often forget. Don’t forget to get your rebates from your gas and electric companies to help cover the cost.

I purchase 4 of the Ecobee thermostats and I had some issues connecting to my network. It had more to do with my network than their product but technical support answered right away and was very helpful. I made several calls to them and every call was handled very professionally and the units are working great. Love them.

I love the convenience my Ecobee provides. The ability to control my thermostat via Alexa, my iPhone or directly at the thermostat (but who wants to do that) is powerful. The satellites are the best feature and allow you to monitor the temperature in the rooms you actually use, not what ever hallway your thermostat is located in.

Before you buy know what a c wire is. Its what powers this. But the excellent support from Ecobee is second to none will help you through it. Even without a c wire they added a pek to rewire and power the device. Alexa integration is good but sometimes doesn't respond to Alexa. You can't change the Alexa trigger word from the app.

This thermostat was easy to setup, and being able to add sensors to other rooms has made a huge difference already. Homekit has allowed me to setup a geo fence to say when I'm home or away. Alexa is a nice addition, but if you have the thermostat in the same room as a tv it thinks it hears the key words more than the echo's.

I like the idea of a smart thermostat, but it’s not very intuitive on the set up and maintenance. Alexa isn’t much help.

An essential part of a smart home. Great Siri integration and once set up, has been reliable. It does take some configuration and may not support all HVAC systems, but setup steps are laid out well. The companion app has improved over the last couple years. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Reviewed this earlier and still love the thermostat but, alexa is not fully enabled. Can't pair bluetooth, will not play xm radio, little things like can't change wake word as you can on a dot or echo. Still works at the basics but a dot integrated with it still controls the thermostat and provides all the extras.

I didnt have a C-Wire install however, trying to setup the alternative was challenging. Ended up returning the device.

This thermostat is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. Easy setup and wiring. It comes with an adapter to make it usable on older units that don’t have a 24v common ran to the stat. Use the home and away function every time we leave. When we are 30-60 minutes out open the app and change to home.
