Purchased this for our new home. Seems to work well.

I don't see how other products without a sensor in every room do it, the ecobee4 has them beat. Once I programmed it, I have NEVER had to touch the thermostat. Every room, I am in is the set temperature, the end.

Great features, easy to install and control remotely. Geofencing is very practical BUT, even with the remote tile, you CANNOT control the dampers of your 2 zones house. This thermostat does not “pilot” the control panel that open/close the dampers directing the air flow to zone 1 or zone 2.

Definitely better than nest. Requires the remote sensors for greatest efficiency but it's a great smart learning thermostat. The Alexa integration is nice, however currently is hampered by part of Amazon's APIs (no ESP, can't change command word). Hoping that Amazon updates their API version in the near future!

These sensors are the best. I have in 3 bedrooms and kitchen. They do sense when you are in a room and when know when your not. Also ecobee itself has a sensor built in. I do reccomend because you can look on app to see tge temperature of each room.

At first it was hard to understand how to use the thermostat. I kept calling the help. The customer service was great. Each time I will call they would walk me through the process on how to address my issue. It really did save me on my electrical bill. It was about 35 percent cheaper.

Love the interface. Backplate seems cheap and tacky. Overall function is amazing

I love being able to shut of the heat or air conditioning when I leave for a trip and several hours before I return home I can ope the app on my phone and turn on the heat so it is nice and warm before I get home, saving me money on my gas/electric bill. Also paired with rebates from my utility company.

Works great in my house,with remote sensor keeps it nice and warm.

Pretty simple to install and set up. Has been easy to use as well.

This does just what it should do. You may need to add power depending on your thermostat wiring but it works great. Added a Wemo plug to my ac window unit and it works just like a central air system.... turns on and off when temp reaches certain bench marks. Excellent!

Given that the selection is limited on HomeKit-compatible thermostats, this was one of the better options. A little bigger and not as stylish as the Nests but does look good on the wall and works well. Wish it was more of a learning thermostat instead of just holing last temperature set.

Energy saving thermostat that has plenty of options and commands!

We have tried them all including the nest! And by far this is the most accurate in sensing room temperature and adjusting to meet the needs of your home. Only concern is if you have set up Alexa and there is another Alexa device close by, it will trigger both. Worth every dollar.

Ease of use, easy app, and great comfort features,make this a must buy.

I had a 3 lite at my prior house and upgraded to the 4 for the new house. Both are great and easy to program from the thermostat or the app. The learning function and the use of sensors control how the heating or cooling is applied through the house based on occupancy.

Was not difficult to install. But I have a Heating/AC background. Did have to tweak the operation settings a bit. The system was short cycling and not removing the humidity in the house. So it was stuffy. This thermostat does monitor the indoor humidity and has a setting to maintain a set humidity level. Works well with my ADT SmartThings and Alexa.

Just recently got this one and love the Alexa feature!
