I liked it but wish the main screen showed outside temp.

Great product like the sensor room, lower your bill

The Ecobee works fine as a Smart Thermostat. We were able to connect it to our Aprilaire Humidifier and works as expected. The app could probably be designed better, but it works. Fit and finish is ok. Looks good from a distance, up close it feels kind of cheaply made.

The thermostat is actually quite efficient, and the app is extra helpful when you need to take the temp down and you don't wanna get out of bed, the downside is that Alexa is "functional" to a degree, half the time doesn't respond, the other half, it cuts out mid sentence.

Ability to change. Temp via phone but cost is too much

Love the features. Wish it had alerts. Easy to install.

Pro: You can control AC from a mobile app remotely. Con: Unless you have been running AC 24/7, this device will not reduce electricity bill. Alexa is pretty much useless. If your thermostat is running fine, do not waste your money.

worked fine as a thermostat but the alexa would not link to my account. I patiently emailed back and forth with support but could not get the help I needed. Alexa was the reason I got this over nest , I returned it and got nest instead.

This never worked at my place. The system is supposed to be compatible but Ecobee never managed to turn on even with the power add-on. Too much plastic used, does not feel like great quality

The user interface is not very friendly. Hard to navigate through the menu. The scheduling and temperature adjustment settings are not very practical either.

Great as a programmable thermostat, but the Alexa function leaves a lot to be desired. The Alexa integration is not as smart or intuitive as a stand alone.

If it worked it would be a 5 star review but since the installation is not easy and will likely require professional assistance if your house is over 30 years old it is not worth it.

Purchased in November and the room sensor did not work properly. It registered 10 degrees warmer than thermostat right next to it. So I called EcoBee for a repair/replacement. It has now been 2.5 months and no replacement. I was initially told the replacement will be sent immediately. I waited a month and was told they are having difficulty due to demand. I can no longer return the item. But it never worked properly.

IDK how to rate this.I had to return the product cause it didn't work with my wiring. I only had 2 wires and this had 4. I know nothing about this kind of stuff so I returned it.

I love this thermostat as it is compatible with Alexa, however; it stopped working suddenly after about a month. Awaiting the delivery of a replacement... worth trying again.

Had very high hopes. Unfortunately though, this didn't work in my home. The unit didn't automatically detect all wires plugged into it as it was supposed to. I called support and they said it may not, that it's a bug they're working through. My ecobee also had a scratch on it, in the wrapped box and all. So I guess done in the factory. But the main thing is that the unit didn't work without a lot of tinkering, even though I had the extra sensor upstairs. I hear Nest is better at the "set it and forget it" aspect. Oh well.

Thermostat works great, I have alexia through out the house, and should have gone with the 3. Alexia on this device is not as responsive as the echo dot

Thermostat is the best. Love the extra sensors. Alexa however is quite slow and does not hear you all the time. Google home is leaps better.
