We love our Ecobee. I selected this because of the good reviews and because of it's compatibility with Apple Home Kit. It was easy to install and set up with both HomeKit and Alexa. While I ended up not needing it (I thought I would) the inclusion of the power extender and instructions is great.

Great product, I was looking at The new Honeywell and Nest thermostat before deciding on the Ecobee 4. very happy with my decision. The room sensors are what sold me. Install was easy.

Ecobee has been a great company to interact with. The smart thermostat is miles ahead of other products. The interface is easy to learn and use. It gives enough depth that I enjoy using it and it's simple enough to understand that it is wife approved.

The ecobee4 Wi-Fi Thermostat would appear to be the best of a growing number of Wi-Fi thermostat's. Easy to install and set up. Is saving us money even though we already had an older programmable thermostat. Love the fact that Alexa is installed.

Excellent thermostat, I was able to set to "away" while I was on vacation. Set up in a new house was interesting. The Ecobee support was able to figure out that the builders never turned on the gas at the furnace.

Between the appliance itself, the association with Alexa, and the customer support, I am completely blown away. I'm so glad I made the decision of this over the available competition.

The alexa built in adds on the already great platform that ecobee has provided in the past. A great upgrade for existing owners, or stater smart thermostat for anyone.

The Ecobee 4 is a great programmable thermostat that keeps our home comfortable. The Amazon Alexa allows us to listen to podcasts, etc. from our thermostat.

In the first place, the products installation process did not work in my case. Even after I followed every step provided in the installation guide it burnt by transformer. I had to spend more money to get the transformer fixed because the echobee4 support will not help me with that. I contacted the echobee4 support they said the wiring was fine but the echobee4 device itself was faulty and they advised me replace it. I replaced the device and did the installation process again and encounter the same problem. I will never buy this product and will not recommend to anyone.

Primary reason I got it was to make my home balanced with the temp sensors. The Alexa features bring it to the top.

I received this promptly along with the free echo dot. Easy installation and was everything I hoped for.

The sensors are truly the difference in equalizing cooling and heating throughout a house

love it was a lil harder to hook up compared to a normal thermostat but fully read the intructions and you can figur it out

Love my ecobee. Use it control heating/ac costs and provides comfort for my townhouse.

I have had two different air conditioned companies come out and they both said that the thermostat isn't functionally like it should. The ecobee will not turn our heat on! We have called ecobee and tried to troubleshoot multiple times and rewire but still nothing. Getting rid of ours.

Although the idea of an Alexa unit in a Thermostat is a very good one this item falls short. I often have to shout at it for it to respond. The thermostat and the remotes are working great. The volume on the Alexa is also not adequate. I would recommend the ecobee3 and a Amazon echo instead. This company should work on the microphone pickup and also consider bluetooth output.

I went against the advice of my HVAC contractor and GC and went with the Ecobee. I regret my decision and wish I would have gone with the Nest. The Nest has better user interface with other systems (remotes, etc) and much better customer service.

Do not buy this product. I normally do not write reviews, but I purchased an Ecobee directly from Ecobee and returned it for an Ecobee 4, I wanted the Alexa feature. I never opened the Ecobee 3 before returning it. I have been waiting for almost two months for a refund and now and after sitting on hold for over an hour two different times I am being told that they cannot find my return and will not be issuing a refund. So, I am out $150 because Ecobee cannot find my return? After speaking with them, they use a third party to check in all their returns, it is not done in house and there is no way to find it. Be careful with this company. I did not want to go with a Nest, but after this type of customer service I have no choice.
