The ecozy 2-1 nugget ice maker is too noisy. Unlike other ice makers that stay on standby mode until ice is needed, this machine is constantly making ice. You have to shut it off at times. The other draw back is when I first cleaned it out it took about 3-4 times flushing out the water before the ice and water tasted properly. For the price I should have spent a few more dollars and just got the other ice maker I had previously owned again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

We love this ice maker and use it all the time! The nugget ice is perfect for drinks, and the built-in water dispenser is super convenient. Being able to control it from my phone is such a nice feature — I can turn it on while I’m out and come home to fresh ice ready to go. It’s a little bigger and makes some noise, but overall totally worth it.
