I bought this to replace an existing older PC. It's quiet, powerful and works well. Got the configuration I wanted at a good price, and was able to take it home with me.

This computer has a new kind of memory called optain. Obtain is expensive, but the best. This memory is used for initial boot up, which makes the computer boot up as though it had a solid stated drive. Very fast. It also has a USB C drive.

Computer looks and work fine right out of the box. Wireless mouse & keyboard both use the one "dongle" packaged with the mouse. A few insights - The USB etc connections are in the back of a small ridge in the front top of the tower. The DVD R/W drive is behind the front strip of the tower. The BestBuy description and photos did not cover this well and the unit does not weigh 26lbs that was stated (I suspected that by comparisons with other towers). These are not drawbacks, just helpful hints. I like the PC and would recommend it to anyone needing a 2018-quality PC.

I use this PC with dual Acer 27-inch monitors to run my trading platforms. It's recently purchased so I shouldn't think anything negative would have developed this early on. I'd say it runs great - nice and quick.

This computer is easy to use and looks nice. I like how much faster it is compared to my old computer, and it has lots of memory, which I love!

... my computer went pffffft and i needed an immediate replacement and that exactly what i got -- from shopping to setup to up-and-running in about 24 hours ... saleslady who took care of me at the store was very informative, knew her stuff, and was patient in answering all my stupid questions ... geek squad setup smooth as silk ... had a problem with the keyboard that came with the computer, but a quick trip to the store and a no-questions-asked switch to a better keyboard was a quick and easy fix ... so far, very good!!!!! ...

This computer was easy to set up. It's quick. It runs my publisher and all my photo apps like a dream. I made a great choice.

I switched from an All-in-One to this desktop PC form factor. Space is not an issue for this box, it fits fine under my desk. But since it is down there, the accessibility of the various ports is not too convenient. The backside ports are hard to reach, and the topside ports are not too tidy-looking. Plus there is a shiny plastic surface adjacent to them that will scratch easily. Nit-picky, I know. Another thing that I am not seeing is the extra speed implied by the optane memory. I have not seen it, yet. I was hoping that cycling thru pictures in Lightroom develop mode would be smoother, faster than my previous PC. But not so. But overall, this is a fine machine, and I cannot / should not complain about it so much!

I purchased this for a colleague in my office and so far, he has had zero complaints about it. The only thing that I did not like is that there is nothing but HDMI ports on it for connecting monitors. If I was purchasing this for a home computer, it would not have been an issue, but I had to get a few extra monitors because his were a little older and only had VGA and DVI outputs on them. Speed-wise, it works like a champ and we have had no problems with it.

I bought this computer for nursing school. i wanted it for speed, memory, and i love HP products.

It has all the stuff I was looking for in a desktop for business. I do wish it had more USB ports, even just one more and they could have put one on the front of the computer for ease with a flash drive. It was not easy to get the second monitor attached to it either. I would not recommend for gamers but good for business multi-tasking.

We were in need of a new computer and this meets and exceeds our needs and expectations.

Got this computer for my wife as she needed a computer to work on at home as an independent agent. For the amount of Hard Drive space and RAM, you can't beat this price. Very easy set up right out of the box. Used the 2 HDMI ports on the back to connect 2 monitors. Wish it had one more port, but no biggie. Looking forward to having this computer for a long time to come.

Would I recommend this computer to anyone, well yes. It was easy to set up and has plenty of ports on it. The computer is very quiet and has places to install a few extra cards if you so choose. This computer works great for what I need it to do, which is recording and processing music for a home studio. A+

bought my Dell pc (last one was in 2012) I like the Dell name, customer service is great. My 16Gm of Ram allows me to multitask on several different levels, and my 1 TB HDD let's me know I don't need to worry about running out of space. For what I use this PC for, it works great for me, and at a great price.

I have purchased computers before from BEST BUY for business before and they have been HP models, but Mark at the Dothan store told me to go with a 16 GB ram and I am so glad I did as it is the fastest computer I've ever purchased or used. UNREAL as the speed this computer has.
