This printer is so cheaply made and the instructions are so small you can barely read them. Over price-not worth it.

Easy to set up and connect to home wi-fi. My 2nd eco-tank printer in 6 years. Overall, very happy with this low priced printer.

The Epson Eco Tank ET2800 printer is doing an excellent job. It prints clear and fast. Cannot comment on the ink usage that it is known for because we haven't had it long enough. The other functions, such as copy, also works fast and prints a clear copy.

good printer for sublimation. however you will void your warranty if you decide to go that route. works well for everday use. very solid printer for the price.

After having used this printer for only a short time I can honestly say that I am impressed with the technology and quality. Let me preface by saying that this is not a high end printer and if your expectations are that it can do it all then you might want to upgrade a few levels from here. With that said, this printer can handle most family and small business needs. It can print black and white, print color, scan, and copy. What it can't do is print on both sides or scan legal size documents. Also, it does not have an automated copy feeder, so you are limited to scanning just one page at a time. The best things about this printer are that it prints in good quality and it is easy to use. Out of the box there is some work to do and the best way to get started is to download the Epson Smart Panel app and go through the setup. It will take a half an hour or so to figure out how to set it up and to fill and calibrate the ink. Once you have that done and you've connected it to your internet, then you are ready to use it. Printing is easy and almost any computer or phone or tablet that is on the same wifi system can connect and print pretty easily. If you want to scan, you will need to download the software for your computer so that the printer will know where to save the scanned document. This is also relatively easy to figure out. The print quality and the scanning and copying capabilities are very good for a printer in this price range. I was impressed with the overall quality. Also, I have another eco tank printer and can say that with normal use (a few times a week), the ink does last for a couple years, so I am expecting the same from this printer. Overall, I'm very pleased with this printer given that my expectations were for a family friendly, low volume, entry level all in one printer. I would recommend it!

This is an awesome printer/copier/scanner but was hard to set up. The unit should have come with the necessary software but you had to find out what you needed on your own. Other than that, after you get it set up, it's great.

The Epson - EcoTank ET-2800 Wireless Color All-in-One Cartridge-Free Supertank Printer with Scan and Copy is a good all-around printer suitable for home use. Thanks to its Wi-Fi network connectivity, you can easily print to it from multiple devices on your home network. Unlike another popular printer brand that decided to eliminate USB connectivity altogether, Epson made the right decision to keep USB 3.0 connectivity, so you can still have it directly connected/wired to your legacy desktop PC. USB will also come in handy for the scanning functionality. The setup is simple, using the Epson smart panel app follow step by step instructions to get the printer setup on your Wi-Fi network. Since there are no ink cartridges, all you have to do is pour the ink from the four bottles into the tanks matching their respective colors. It’s pretty cool that you can physically see the actual ink levels on the front of the printer. I’ve had issues with ink drying up on older inkjet printers, hope Epson took care of that problem with this new cartridgeless design. It would truly be great if I didn’t have to worry about ink for the next 2 years with low to moderate printing volume. Print quality is pretty sharp even on regular paper. Speed is reasonable at 10ppm for black and half that for color. It would have been nice to have automatic duplex printing at this price point, but I guess not having to buy expensive ink cartridges a couple of times per year makes up for that. Time will tell if the EcoTank ink will be “stress-free” for two years. Epson also includes a generous 2 year warranty.

Love this EcoTank! I bought it for sublimation purposes, which voids the warranty, but it works wonderfully and is inexpensive.

I have been a fan of the EcoTank family of printers since they first came out. The most costly part of a printer is the ink replacement due to the cartridge costs. This takes this out play by providing for large capacity ink tanks and large bottles of ink. All of this while not reducing the print quality. This model is smallest of the lineup and the most basic. It does not have a document feeder, a paper tray or automatic double sided printing capabilities. I have found that his is handy in a room where I don't have a lot of extra space. It works perfectly with a very nice scanner and fast printing. The colors are brilliant and it isn't extremely noisy. With the limited capabilities, I will use this printer for lower demand print jobs. It is always important consider the intended use when purchasing products. This is an excellent choice for a den, dorm room or a small office. I was not able to have Windows 10 automatically set up the printer, so I recommend using the drivers provided at Epson's website. I recommend this regardless because you always end up with the most recent drivers and software that will provide for all functionality. Epson also provides a phone application that works very well. I set up the printer with the phone application and it worked flawlessly. The application also provides for printer and scanner functionality. This is another great product from Epson.

Using this to replace my Canon printer, and although the DPI is lower on this printer, it does the job. Just put the print setting on HIGH before proceeding. I love the refillable part of the printer compared to buying cartridges! Somehow this printer connects better than the ET-8550, but I love them both in regards of what they can do. It is a smidge confusing to setup(wireless). Here's how to do it so that you won't get confused. Step 1: Remove all the protective tape. Step 2: Fill it up with ink accordingly. Step 3: Load AT LEAST 3 sheets of printer paper. Step 4: START at your computer to prep the wireless setup; Google Epson's ET-2800's Setup for your computer (windows vs chromebook) and download that. Step 5: Follow the steps to download the proper drivers and to connect to your wifi. It'll then ask you to navigate the rest of the steps accordingly on your printer. And you're done after that!

just perfect....some complain that the center window is too small.....wrong...I could read it even without my glasses. paper loads in the back and stands up...so you can see how much paper you need BEFORE you run out. Printing is bright and clear and color too! So easy to load ink and even windows in front to see how much ink you have left.....Just a perfect little home copier and I only paid $199.....
