One design improvement is in the power cord it adds 2" to the back clearance for the unit. If they opted for a 90* cord it could fit more snugly against a wall or in a cubby. Overall pleased and would buy again.

But, I did not like the fact of there is no automatic double sided printing. Even $40 printer has that feature. This is my first impression about this printer. Need 6 months to write a detailed review.

Not worth it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This printer isn't worth the papers it prints. I've had this printer for almost two years. I don't print much but would like a decent printer when I do need to print something and this isn't it. My first problem, which is my fault for not paying enough attention, is that this doesn't print double sided. Not even an option to do it by refeeding a page through. Big problem. Every time, and I mean EVERY TIME, I go to print something, I get gibberish on the page. The print heads aren't aligned or need to be cleaned. I waste more time and paper futzing around printing test pages and doing all the other diagnostics than I do actually printing things. And don't get me started on the near constant firmware updates. What needs updating, it's an older model printer?!? I deeply regret this purchase. I'll be in the market for a new printer soon, so if anyone has any better recommendations, I'm open to suggestions.

I got sublimation ink elsewhere and just put that in the ink tanks instead. It prints high quality images every time.
