Customers recognize the EcoTank ET-3710's excellent print quality and ease of use, frequently praising its straightforward setup and compact size. The wireless functionality is also a highlight for many users, who appreciate its convenience. While some experienced occasional paper jams, the printer's generally positive reception outweighs this minor drawback.

We were searching for a printer that would make good prints even though it might not be used for a few months when we go south during the winter (many printers dry out or clog when they aren't used regularly). This EcoTank model can be refilled from ink bottles and doesn't use the typical cartridges. It's compact enough to fit in our office closet and it makes very nice prints. We're happy with it so far.

Finding an Ecotank printer was hard. Finally ordered it and waited for delivery because brick and mortar stores never had them. Always sold out. Mine was shipped from a long way away to get to me.
Setting up the printer was both easy and hard. Nothing really to it, except that it was not clear to me at first how the bottles versus the tanks were in terms of capacity. I filled the tanks, and there was ink left over, but not much. Then I powered up and went through the internal setup, and it loaded the print head with ink, draining the tanks by the exact amount that was leftover in the bottled! Oh. I refilled the tanks, and now they are full, and the print head is loaded.
The printer runs rings around the HP 8100 Pro I had before. Faster, better print quality, far more control over print output. I drive it from a Mac and the Epson drivers for it are very good. The mac will print to it without them, but adding them gave me a great deal more control. Epson also provides all sorts of other things as part of the software package, like a gallery to pre-edit things before they are printed. We also like it can print edge to edge: No border.
It's not a cheap printer. HP makes their money selling you ink. Since this comes with a ton of ink, and the ink is cheaper to replace, had to spend more on the device. I was OK with that. Seems more upfront, and as noted, comes with lots of nice extra's.
One thing of note: The print head does not have an infinite life (no print head does), so whenever that needs to be replaced, it will be interesting to see what that price looks like.

Glad I decided o spend a little more and get this instead of the XP-7100. I had an Epson Artisan 835 for about 9 years. It printed 1000's of pages for me. A few months back I started acting up with the black printing. I had used one of them ink refill kits the whole time I owned it. Never had a problem. From so much use it finally wore out and I thought It might be the same ink refill cartridge I used for 9 years being the problem. I purchased a new fresh cartridge for the black for $22. I printed about 8 all black pages and almost had it working BUT RAN OUT OF INK !
Then it stopped printing and got clogged again. I knew I needed a new printer. Tried to decide a few days on the ET3719 or the XP-7100. I did order for pickup the XP-7100 but then cancelled it and changed it to the ET 3710.
I did not want to spend an extra $100 for the ET 3710 and not have an Automatic Paper Feeder, and loose a little quality for photo printing. But then I thought about it and I really never used the photo printing much on my Epson 835, and I only used the ADF a few times in 9 years.
Then I remembered how I just spent the $22 on the black ink cartridge trying to fix my old printer, AND HOW FAST IT USED THE INK !
I like to print instruction manuals. Printing a 300 page manual would easily use $80 worth of ink.
I cancelled the 7100 and so glad I got the ET-3710 instead.
It prints really nice, clear, not to loud, and fast. Printed 2 photos just to test it and it's not that bad. I didn't "tweak" any photo settings, but they turned out pretty good.
I just have to get used to all the settings and mess with it a little more to customize "presets" for my needs, but this printer is well worth the money.

I am a printer lover. I want to clip my coupons and print them. I love printing labels for my little Etsy business and the ink lasts a long time. I've only had to refill my black once since I purchased it. The set up is easy and I've been able to print from my phone, computer and laptop to the Epson -EcoTank. The best purchase I've actually made in a long time.

So far so good. Was not hard to install, and loading the ink was easy. Looks like they give you enough to last quite a while. I filled all the tanks with a little bit left over for each color. It took a few minutes to prime the ink and load the tubes, but once done everything seemed to work just fine. Print output was very good, with good color and details. i'm really looking forward to the saving cost on ink.

Epson EcoTank 3710 was very easy to setup & to fill each of the four ink wells with no mess. I downloaded instructions & setup app for iMac, connected to my WiFi printing & scanning great. So happy to not have to spend $52 on an ink cartridge any more. Plus side the ink should last me about 2 years & you must print at least 1 page a month to keep printer printing good. Can’t wait to try and print pictures.

Never have owned a printer before. Did my reviews on this. Set up was easy that I had my son do. He had no problems printing from his cell phone the FORMS we ALL needed to fill out to get vaccines for the COVID-19 shots. The forms were very clear and readable. This printer is fast too. We are very very very HaPpy with this Printer. Have had this since 03-2021.

A great solution for buying ink cartridges that seem to dry out and not last as long. Wireless setup was a breeze and devices can detetect it easily. It's a little expensive up front, but a good investment in the long run. Print quality in both b&w and color are very good. Highly recommend this for home and school use.

Easy to use printer and it also support a 100Mbit Ethernet connection to my 8 port switch, while also supporting a wireless connection.
Does all the functions of my former printer, XP-640 except it more straight forward.
Main feature is that you cango through a year of printjobs without replacing of cartridges.
Only small issues is that all printouts are in 8.5 x 11 full page sizes which includes printing of photos.

We needed a new printer and decided to try the EcoTank to see if we could save some money on ink. We considered the lower end models in this line, but after reading reviews, went with the ET-3710.
Not the most expensive, but had enough bells and whistles for our WFH use. So far, so good. Easy to set up and connect to. Easy to fill the ink. Seems to work great. Thumbs up!

This printer is very economical as far as ink goes. I think the build quality is a bit lacking though. It is very prone to paper jams. I have contacted Epson regarding this as it started after about 10 pages of print. The unit intself prints beautifully. There are times when it will not print and says the printer is offline but it is not. When it is working it is very good and very economical to use. I may just have a quirkly one.

Installation was easy enough. There were a lot more steps involved in set up, but I'm not bothered to much by that. Print quality is great! So far, I have had 1 paper jam after a month of use. But it was an easy fix. Sometimes it doesn't print wirelessly, but that's probably because I have tried sending something to print from the opposite side of my house. Overall, I am pleased with the printer...even with the minor inconveniences.

Normally don't give 5* tech item reviews I purchase for fear of jinxing them but in this case, I'll take the chance.
I don't need to print a lot and my 15YO Lexmark laser, although still working, just wasn't cutting it any more. Leaving streaks and most times, took a couple try's to print emails from W10's mail.
I needed to print out some government documents and my HP Ink Jet printer/scanner/copier, although "working", wouldn't go past the "replace carriage" message. I wasn't about to spend $$$ just to find out the printer might be the problem. It was 12YO and wasn't worth a chance.
Saw "Tha Shaq's" TV advertising and it made sense to refill instead of replacing cartridges. Easy set-up but lengthy. Printed all the requisite tests and began using it wirelessly. Have sent documents from multiple laptops and desktops successfully... love the duplex feature! Loaded the Epson App on my phone and now print successfully from anywhere.
For someone who only prints only occasionally, I couldn't see getting another HP cartridge hawg!

Without ever buying the Epson printer I wanted the ink concept as that is the down fall of all previous printers in my price range. Once received it was simple to unpack, add the ink and go through the alignment procedures. It has been accepted immediately by my 3 different computers and has never failed. Seeing the ink level is a great feature.

I’m very pleased with this purchase. Love the fact that it does not use ink cartridges but features the eco tank system. Prints clear copies both in B&W & color. Very compact. Even though it claims to be an all in one printer, it does not fax. And it does not have a feeder to accommodate multiple pages for copying. If those features are unimportant to you, I recommend this Epson printer.

Saw a commercial for this printer, and became inrerested so I went in store to check it out. It was pretty easy to figure out how to work it and it does beautifully! Cant wait to see how long the liquid ink lasts, that is one of the main reasons I chose it, to save money on ink.

Love the new printer. Easy to set up and prints thousands of pages before it needs ink. I haven’t had dry up issues where you waste an expensive set of ink to get the printer to print all but one color. These are quiet and smaller than the 3 yr epson printer I had.

Epson Eco Tank actually made me stop hating ink. Easy, great colors and copies. Seems like the ink will never run dry. But I know someday it will. Easy to fill with ink bottle refills. Just tip and let the bottles do the rest. Auto stop when tank is full is a Godsend.
Love it for my home office.

I've read the reviews that it was hard to set up but we had no problems. I've already saved at least 1 set of ink cartridges. Quality is decent although I bumped the density way up. It's only been a few weeks but so far so good. Print speed is slow but that's not a priority for us.
