Nice unit good pix quality only bad thing is the sound it sounds like a hospital speaker and you can’t hook a sound bar to it also has no WiFi other then that the 3000 lumens is the way to go because it is AWESOME in a bright room during the day time !

Bought primarily to use for outdoor evening movies with kids. For the price, couldn't beat it. Dusk was plenty dark enough to see it. Obviously, 2 in the afternoon wouldn't work too well, but at this price you shouldn't expect that.
One note: no standard speaker output. Luckily we use a Chromecast that connects to a Bluetooth speaker system.

I am a long time Epson user when it comes to projectors. I was looking for a portable-ish projector for use with presentations that could run picture slideshows without having to hook up a pc for easier setup. Epson states this device is capable of this and while I can say it does work, just not for all photos. There are file types it states in the documentation that it works with and those it does not, unfortunately it is hit and miss even within those file types. All photos I was trying to use were taken with the same phone, same settings, etc and it would display some of those photos and not other. None of them were above the size and pixel limitations, etc.
Each photo was in the parameters given in the documentation, but it just simply wouldn't use them. My current Epson still works just fine, so I'll be sticking with it and returning the CO-W01.
As for the picture quality and brightness it is fantastic! The 16:10 aspect ratio though is weird and I didn't see that prior to purchasing in my research. I don't know why you would want that aspect ratio for a projector. On my laptop it makes sense.
It is quite loud when running and it gets hot very fast. I wish it had a lens slide to protect during tranist, so the "portable" moniker may not be so true. It is lightweight and has smallish footprint.
The auto-keystone is awesome and very useful when setting up. Get it close to square to the wall and the distance for the screen size and it will do the rest. I did have to reposition a couple times to get it right. Trying to use the auto-keystone after it has already setup was not so fun, so I would end up having to turn it off to reset the auto-keystone to then get it right on the wall.
I can recommend this, but again I question the portability based on it not having a lens cap/protector and auto-keystone issues.

I wanted to save a little space and decided to go with a projector instead of a TV. After searching for a little I found this and bought it. It works really well, was super easy to set up, and has good quality. The only thing was the sound on the project speaker wasn't the best but that was a simple fix with an audio extractor.

It was like night and day. I made the mistake of buying a cheap no name brand on Amazon. It was horrible. I bought if for a new staff training. We couldn't see anything. It was so dark and the colors were horrible and the sides of the projection were out of focus. So in the middle of training, I ran (literally) into the BestBuy and bought this Epson. The best investment I ever made in office equipment. It is a keeper. The colors were perfect, the lighting adjustments and focus were sharp. I was embarrassed that I had bought that other device in an effort to save $100 and in the end I paid more because the quality of the training was compromised and disrupted, and I lost a lot of time. But I learned my lesson and will only recommend Epson. They make great projectors, full stop.

I’m using the projector for our ukulele group, I project the music on a screen for all to see and play to. Projector works much better than a cheaper projector I used before. I would have given five stars, but focusing is not perfect.

I’ve read so many bad reviews on projectors that we put this purchase off for years. The Amazon reviews of many unknown-brand products had us believing that streaming wouldn’t work or wouldn’t work without an Android device or would be blocked. We took a chance on this and after logging into everything, setup was complete. And shockingly, we were able to log into Prime, YouTube, Disney, and Netflix flawlessly. Picture quality and brightness were surprisingly nice! I learned to take many of the reviews on projectors with a grain of salt because there are snobs who expect IMAX experiences from a couple, hundred dollar product. My only complaint with this projector is the sound, which we are still working on finding a speaker that is easy to carry with it. Good thing we have Best Buy.

I am enjoying the projector. My only concern is that it's not user friendly. The setup instructions are not very informative. I had to spend a lot of time getting information from the Epson website. Also the unit it self heat up very quickly.

The projector has worked great for my business, and I am considering adding two more units because it has made a great difference. I must add that Best Buy has been great to do business with. I have no complaints.

we bought this for one of my daughter's birthday parties. Had no idea how cool it was and have used it much more than originally thought. It connects ONLINE so you can watch NETFLIX or whatever on it. That didn't dawn on me until after we had it. It's fun to just throw it on a table and cast on a wall anywhere in the house. I wish the built in speaker was better and louder but you can hook it up to an external system if you need more.

Don't ignore 720p. This product is powerful. It's really bright and offers a big screen even at short distances. All you need is a Chromecast or Apple TV! Buy while on sale!!!

Great resolution. Quality is just what I needed. I use this for training videos in the business in our conference room. I also use this at home to have movie nights outside.
