This is my 2nd printer in less than two years. They are cheaply made and malfunction easy. They are confusing to set up and again v=cheaply made

Useless at this time

Hopefully they can sort it out I’ve never had these problems before

Printer difficult

Unfortunately I had to have emergency surgery or I would have already returned it. I wish I had read the reviews on this printer before I bought it.

Clunky, difficult.

Hard to use, always has issues. The controls are antiquated and clunky. Printer tray is difficult, loading paper is often difficult. The ink cartridges get jammed and then it prints out green. Forget it! Clunky, outdated and awful

Pass on Epson

Not bring a tech person. I can’t explain what the original/returning issue was - other than it wasn’t working. I’ve returned for an HP.

So I am not at all happy with the product, and have no idea if it works at all. I have paid for and ordered a power cord. BTW, Best Buy's online customer service is awful.

Major Paper Issues

Junk! Waste of Money

Just got it and it reads that the ink is empty and it is a new ink cartridge. It will allow you to bypass and just print in black and white. Worse purchase EVER.

I WAS UNABLE TO SET IT UP

Worst printer ever! Don’t buy it!

Great Printer!!

I was not sure how complicated it would be to set up the printer but I was very impressed with how easy the set-up was. I unboxed it, plugged it in, and installed the software. The process went quickly and I was able to do it wirelessly. You have the option to use a USB if you want. Ink cartridges are easy to install and there are 5 of them. There is cyan, mag, yellow, standard black and photo black. I personally like that each color has its own cartridge as you only have to buy what you need. I also like the two black options as the photo black adds crispness to your photos and the regular black is for documents. There are 2 paper trays one for standard paper and the other for photo paper. It comes with a special CD/DVD tray for printing options as well. There is a SD memory card slot for file sharing or printing from. This printer prints quickly with bright sharp images. You can print double sided documents with ease. If you have an iPhone or an iPad there is the air print option. I like this option as I was in the kitchen printing recipes from my iPad and walked immediately into my office and collected the recipes already printed off of the printer! I began a new project of scanning photos into the computer and with the software it was quick and easy. I was able to scan in 20 photos, label, and upload in minutes. There are two things that I am not I am not too keen on and they are that you have to open the front panels to pull out the output tray to print and you can only scan one photo at a time. The printer is small and compact but has a wide variety of features. It is great for a home printer and probably a small office. I highly recommend this printer. This is a review for the Epson Expression Premium XP-6100 Small-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Awful, won't buy Epson again

You'll spend more on one set of ink than the printer, I'll never buy an Epson printer again. Waste of time and money.

Don't Buy

Its MY printer. I can use any ink I want. Going in the trash. DO NOT BUY EPSON PRODUCTS

Easy to Use

The instructions were clear and concise and I was finished with setup and printing in no time at all. I was also pleasantly surprised by how well they packaged the printer and how everything was well thought out and organized, down to the ink cartridge caps and storage bags in case you have to transport the printer. My favorite part about this Epson printer is the ease of use. I can flawlessly and seamlessly transition between printing from my laptop and my smartphone. The quality is phenomenal, no matter what I am printing from and the colors just pop off the page. Another feature I really like is the sleep mode. It's very energy efficient and I can leave it on all the time. It will wake up when I send a print job and go back to sleep after a few minutes of inactivity. Overall, I am impressed with this printer. The quality is much better than other printers I have tried, even with photographs. I have used it to print coupons and the barcodes come out perfect. I have even printed documents for my business and there are no blurry lines and it prints fast which is great, especially when I am in a hurry. I definitely reccomend it, I know I love mine. Good Printer

Given my profession, education, I’m constantly printing things either at home or work. These are normally lengthy reports of data, notices that need to go home, or simply creating stations or projects for my students to work on. With this being said I needed a printer that was easy to install, operate, and could print quietly and quickly. The Epson XP-6100 was just that and then some. What I also like is how compact this printer is. Most all in ones are big, bulky, and heavy; this one isn’t at all. Some of the many benefits of this printer is that the ink is managed extremely well. I love the fact that it has a separate cartridge just for photo ink (can we all say “amazing”!!). This way I didn’t have to worry about using all of my printing ink to copy a photograph. Besides that, the setup is extremely easy. I connected it to my home Wi-Fi within minutes. Speaking of Wi-Fi, I found it amazing to be able to print from my phone and laptop without having to install software on either. Just simply find the printer’s wife name, hit connect, and print away. This came in handy during those times where I was multitasking and wanted to knock something out before I forgot about it and with as quiet as it is I didn’t wake my husband when I was printing in the middle of the night. I could seriously go on and on about how impressed I am with this printer. Either way if you’re looking for an all-in-one that’s easy to setup, operate, and extremely functional this is the printer for you (and me!!).
