Purchased this printer 9 months ago. Over half of the time I attempt to print, this printer requires using the Wi-Fi Wizard to completely reconnect to my home internet. Most of the time I use the printer, I run into issues and spent 10-20 minutes troubleshooting and restarting the printer and the device commanding the print job.
Usually once it's connected, it will continue to work without error throughout the rest of the day.
It eats through ink, but that's relatively standard for at-home printers in this price range with the size ink cartridges equipped.
All that said, the print quality is at or above my expectations, but I would still recommend an HP printer with similar features. My last HP printer lasted 9 years with light usage.

After purchasing the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3820 Wireless All-in-One Printer for my home office, I have had a mixed experience with its overall performance. This printer offers a range of functionalities, though there are areas where improvements could be beneficial.
Design and Build Quality: 3/5
The Epson WF-3820 features a standard black design that fits well in most office settings. While its size is relatively compact, the design and build quality are average and don’t particularly stand out in the competitive printer market.
Setup and Connectivity: 3/5
The setup process is straightforward, but not exceptionally different from other printers in this category. The wireless connectivity functions as expected, providing basic connectivity options. However, it lacks additional connectivity features that might be seen in other models.
Print Quality and Speed: 3/5
The print quality is satisfactory, delivering decent text and graphics. It's adequate for everyday printing but doesn't excel in either sharpness or color vibrancy. The print speed is average, aligning with what is typically expected from an all-in-one printer in this range.
Features and Functionality: 3/5
The all-in-one capabilities of the WF-3820 - including printing, scanning, and copying - perform adequately. The touchscreen interface is functional, yet it could be more intuitive. The absence of advanced features like automatic two-sided scanning is noticeable.
Ink Efficiency and Cost: 3/5
Ink efficiency is moderate. Regular users might find the ink consumption and the cost of replacement cartridges to be on par with other printers in the same category, but not particularly cost-effective in the long run.
Overall Experience: 3/5
Overall, the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3820 is an average all-in-one printer. It meets basic printing needs but doesn’t particularly excel in any specific area. It’s a suitable option for those with moderate printing needs, but heavy users or those seeking high-end features might want to consider other options.
Hi GMACZ, Thank you for taking time to post your WorkForce Pro WF-3820 review. Epson takes into consideration all feedback to improve the performance and quality of our products. This is the best printer I have owned. It is really easy to use. I love it. I hate it that I waited so long to purchase this. It lets me know when the ink is low and takes me to the site to order the exact ink I need.. This is the best scanner I've used and the easiest.

The printer works well. I bought this after a disappointing experience with HP printers and hearing good things about Epson. The photos are better quality than my previous HP printer. It goes through ink quickly though.

This wireless printer and program much easier to install than anotherhp competitor who I always used to buy for over 30+ years. One wrinkle was the requirement to get more app downloads per item, fax, print , scan copy.
