This printer replaced another Epson printer that I had for years. The scanning features and speed are unbeatable. The print qualyis what I expected, excellent. Setup was a breeze.

This printer is fast and the printing is great. The downside is that the ink is very expensive and hard to find. I always bought the XL packages of ink cartridges for my printer but this one does not have the combined XL pack for all of the ink. Hopefully this will change and also the ink price will be more comparable to other printers ink prices.

I bought the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4740 from Best Buy when it was on sale AND Best Buy had an additional coupon offer. The final Best Buy price was a great bargain! The Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4740 works great and is a very nice printer/fax/scanner/copier. The installation was very easy but did take a little longer than expected. I did some multitasking while the install and firmware update ran, so the time wasn't a big deal. After about a month of use, the Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4740 has been an excellent printer and the final price at Best Buy was outstanding!

Printer was easy to set up and worked right away. Printing is very fast. I really like the ease of copying and scanning. I also like the two sided feature.

I was a little bit nervous about leaving the brand I had been using for so many years. I have to say I'm so glad I did. The quality of this unit is fantastic. The speed of the printer is the first thing I was surprised by, the quality of photo is great even though that's not the sole purpose for purchasing this unit. I primarily use it for printing document's and the text is sharp and clear. Installing the unit was easy as far as network and my laptop. I really like the larger display giving you all the information you need. I'm very pleased with my choice. Epson has gained a new customer for sure.

I was looking for a printer that could print faster, especially 2-sided, than my previous office inkjet. This is a very fast printer and large 2-sided print jobs complete MUCH faster than the other office printers. Pint quality, however, is inferior to competing inkjet office printers, especially text. I don't use this printer for anything but in-office printing as the quality is not good enough for production use. Quality is improved a bit by installing the Epson Print drivers rather than using the generic Windows print driver, but still not very crisp text. The worst part is that I cannot find any 8.5x11 paper that will work in Cassette 1 without jamming or pulling multiple pages through at a time. I even tried "Epson" branded paper. I was told by the Best Buy tech that Cassette 1 is better for legal size and picture paper and that Cassette 2 is made for standard paper. This does seem to solve the paper jams for people who take the time to install the Epson Print Drivers (cannot print from cassette 2 with windows driver) and remember to select Cassette 2 every time before printing. For the rest of us, it's just too much of a hassle. It usually takes one jammed print job to remember that cassette 1 doesn't work and so the second print job just goes to a different printer that does work.

Easy setup and fast printing! First page printing is super quick!

We use this for the entire household which is three bachelors and our buddies who often crash here. It does a good job consistently and seems to manage the amount of ink used pretty well. While I had actually wanted a printer that could print much larger sizes, I'm actually really happy with this one. Especially for the price.

Was wary of buying something that was not going to be what was advertised, but this was by far one of my best buys. Super easy to set up and prints fast.

I use this all in one printer/ copier / scanner for home non photo quality printing. It has been reliable, wireless works very good. It is rather noisy (clunking plastic sounds during warm up and printing) and is very large for its class. Biggest con is no prining or copying in black when a color cartridge is empty.

WE USE THIS MACHINE FOR ALL OF ITS FUNCTIONS ALL OF THE TIME. IT HAS BEEN GREAT, MUCH FATER THAN OUR OLD MACHINE. VERY EASY TO USE ALL OF THE FUNCTIONS.

Paying a little more to get a less tinny, cheaply constructed printer was behind decision to purchase. Good print images and easy to use.

I really like the Epson Work Force 4740. It's very fast and the print quit exceptional. I look at a lot of views of many different printers before I bought the Epson WF. I had a HD printer before and the Epson operating system takes a little getting use too. But when you get past the learning curve, I think you'll be happy with the Epson WF. I am.

I adore this printer. Easy to set up and easy to use. User manual is easy to follow, and the instruction on the user panel almost as easy. I can rely on quality output, but remember, this an inkjet, not a laser printer. No break-downs that I could not remedy on my own. Paper jams are few, and replacement ink cartridges are easy to find. It will not accept non-Epson ink cartridges, so say good-bye to the third-party ink cartridge vendors you find in eBay.

I needed a new printer. My old Epson had served me well for several years. The new one prints on both sides, holds paper in two trays and it's wireless.

Great printer, especially for the money. Got on sale, and got a credit for our old broken printer. Works great and was easy to set up.

This printer was very easy to setup both for our laptop and so that we can print from our phones. Print quality is great and it came at a great price!
