Matt is exceptional! Having a personal rep to guide appliance, TV and tech decisions has been fantastic. He goes above & beyond to help you make the right decision for you & ensures the entire process goes smoothly thru delivery & installation. When he first came to measure for my appliances I had no idea all these services came free from Best Buy. The extra year warranty from Best Buy is reason enough but with this level of customer service support, I now only buy from them.

In short, my experience with BestBuy Magnolia, on Victory Blvd in Canoga Park was awesome. All 5 stars are allocated to Victory Blvd. Anh Lee did a great job helping me find the beginnings of my home theater journey and I am sure to be back soon for more. If you had asked me a year ago if I would have purchased audio equipment at BestBuy, I would have hands down said “no”.
So, I walked in because I had done research and had been eyeing some KEF speakers – great value for what they offer. I started at Simi Valley, my local store. The expert there informed me that their Magnolia setup was rather small, and it is. I found that it was hit or miss if the equipment was even hooked up to play in the testing room. The expert there informed me I should try Thousand Oaks for more options, and helped me setup an appointment for the following week with Anh Lee. Off to Thousand Oaks now.
At Thousand Oaks I met David Fisher at the Magnolia area. I explained to David everything mentioned above. David seemed to have great interest, knowledge, and expectations of the audio industry. When I mentioned the reason for my visit, to hear the KEF speakers of interest, he highly discouraged me from hearing the speakers before my aforementioned appointment with Anh. While this was a bit disappointing, given I just travelled out to Thousand Oaks explicitly for that, I took it in stride. I went on to explain my idea of a setup and what I already had. I explained I have a 2014 vintage AVR to use, and he immediately recommended against getting new speakers with an older AVR due to the technical progression since. I once again took it in stride and left. Had I not been to Simi and had the appointment setup prior I would likely have not worked with BestBuy on this situation alone. I left Thousand Oaks fearing that BestBuy’s audio experts would continue to be pretentious and not forgiving to a more modest budget and partial system. I had already done precursory research and knew my AVR was more than enough to power the system I had in mind and would have sounded great – even if it didn’t have all of the 2024 ‘bells and whistles’. Because I already had the appointment setup, I called it a day and went home.
The following week Anh reached out to me on Monday, we talked for about an hour, and we scheduled an appointment later that week. Anh arrived and we spent about an hour talking about my home, area for setup, idea of a setup, and down the road expansion. Anh single-handedly kept me working with BestBuy on this audio setup and future upgrades. Anh is very intelligent, respectful, insightful, and resourceful. Anh did a great job helping me define my current acquisitions and future ones, even replying to some of my inquires on his days off. He seemed to be very interested in finding a setup to work with my budget, experience, and expectations and invited me back to the Victory Blvd location to hear the equipment I had in mind.
I felt Anh was as excited as I was to build up my system, which is an awesome way to represent BestBuy, Magnolia, and specifically the Victory Blvd location. Great work. While I work on getting the funds for a new subwoofer, BestBuy should work on giving Anh a raise.
Oh- and I am very happy with my system. It has only been a few days but so far I am impressed and happy with the route I went.

The entire crew we worked with was amazing! We would highly recommend Best Buy and Best Buy elite/magnolia. Roman and John are very knowledgeable and the install team is very patient when teaching you how to use your new equipment. Inside Chevy and Carson (?) were great! They show amazing attention to detail and helped walk us through learning our new equipment! For the outside install Dustin walked me through everything and then had me explained it back to make sure everything went smoothly. We will continue to go with Best Buy and always recommend their services.

I went to Best Buy and asked for help with a home theater system. I was given Davids number. I called him and we spoke for 15 minutes or so about my thoughts. I sent him pictures of my basement and video. He had me come in and meet him 3 days later. He had a tv and receiver picked out for me and together we picked out the speakers. He was very professional and exceptional. His knowledge of home theater systems is amazing. He went above and beyond to get me the best prices. He put together a great system that fit my budget perfectly. It’s so easy working with him. We texted back and forth without me even having to go in the store. He did all the work for me. I just told him what I wanted. My basement is now like a movie theater. I couldn’t be more happy. He set me up with the best team of installers as well. Words can’t describe how easy and excellent this whole process was. Go and see David and let him do his magic. You wont be disappointed.

Since the beginning working with Freddy at the Bestbuy location of Portsmouth, I experienced highly qualified and professional approach, which got me exactly to where I want it to be. Freddy and the rest of the team were extremely knowledgeable of all the details and requirements with all the bells and whistles of installing a home theater. From choosing the best equipments that matched my budget, doing a home visit to plan the project, tailoring the dimensions of the speakers in respect to the room and the stand I purchased, and finally delicately installing the home theatre, all were done precisely with care and excellent communication throughout the whole process.

We needed help measuring and confirming that a counter depth fridge would fit in an area where our pantry wall extended. Many brands would not fit if I wanted to open the french door without hitting the corner drywall. Austin patiently went through the four fridge choices I had picked. We were able to eliminate what would not work. Also, Austin was able to help me visualuze the size and tell me, in the comfort of my own kitchen, what the wait would be on each appliance. I ordered and paid for the selection with him. Austin was very informative, kind, patient, and professional. He helped us measure and order our washer and dryer as well. He also told us about the various specials that were going on, so we didn't miss out on a sale or the $100 Best Buy money that would come with the fridge I picked. I decided to get the Best Buy card as I would receive an additional discount on my purchase. Austin took me through that process seamlessly. Austin is there to serve a purpose and that is to make sure the client is getting answers to their questions and in home consults. Whether a person chooses to place an order or not is a choice not an expectation. I went to stores and looked at products first. I also researched the products online and created a top three list. That was helpful and my goal was to have his consult and then order from my home with him. I did this initially with the washer and dryer. When I found out that my fridge was not repairable, I knew I wanted to give Best Buy the business because of Austin's service and their good appliance warranty program. He made the transaction feel personal. Thanks Austin.

Wonderful experience. In home team was very professional and considerate of our home. They were very good to work around our new construction and all of those challenges. We purchased a Samsung Frame TV and Sonos Soundbar and the installation was as professional as could be. The two technicians were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient during the installation process. It was a clean installation and looks amazing. They were also helpful when showing us how to configure and manage the equipment. We couldn't have asked for better service.

I have been around the block in this audio/video game for some time and I have been through countless pieces of equipment on my upgrade journey to where I am now. Sometimes I walk into a dealer and find that I am the one educating the sales rep on what it is I’m actually looking for. Well this is just not the case when working with Ray and his team at the Pasadena magnolia home design center. They know their product lines and know what products will work In certain situations better than others. Their prices are very fair for the level of equipment they sell and they take care of their repeated customers in the event of any warranty or future upgrades needed. I give Ray and the sales team at the Pasadena store a very strong 5 star rating. If you are looking for more than your average customer service experience and want the best in hifi then take a drive out to this location as I do. For me living about 70 miles away in northern Ventura county I have plenty of other options for hifi, however I just find the best window to time traffic and get out to this location.. it is totally worth it if you are in the market for some premeium Audio/Video gear.

When we moved into our new condominium, we carefully measured the location where we wanted our new TV/Sound bar/ DVR. Traveling to BB’s Potomac Yards location, we met Arthur. We showed him the dimensions (in the photograph) and described the distance from the TV to our Sofa. He suggested a Sony 65-inch OLED TV and paired sound bar. With our extensive DVD collection, he recommended a DVD player that would pair nicely with the TV/SB. The day we first met Arthur was the last day of the current sale. We weren't quite ready to purchase it yet. Arthur said, “no problem, give me contact information and when it goes back on sale, I'll contact you”! Two months later, to our delight, we received a phone call from Arthur saying, “they are on sale this morning when can you come in and purchase?” We were there two hours later! We were very pleased and satisfied with Arthur's professionalism and his remembering us. Several days later, a Geek Squad installation team brought the TV and DVD player. They installed them and the sound bar (sent separately) into the space that we measured so carefully – everything fit perfectly. The Geek Squad made sure we understood our new purchase and how it would work.

I had questions about some high end speakers and Eric Peralta took the time to answer them all. He had some similar demo speakers which he set up for me to listen. He kindly matched the price of a competitor so I ordered them. The speakers arrived damaged and Eric quickly ordered a new pair which arrived in a week. The speakers sound great and everything was compatible with my system. Thanks for the great service!

We wanted help to make the best choice among new kitchen appliances (microwave, oven, cooktop, and dishwasher). We purchased a Best Buy Totaltech membership and met with Ed Caufield in our home. Prompted by pictures of appliances we had already seen in stores, Ed shared his knowledge of and personal experiences with several brands of kitchen appliances. Ed asked us some questions to better understand what our needs/desires were before he began to share his knowledge. And, Ed is so humble - it felt like we had a good close friend sharing his knowledge and experiences with us. Ed was very open to questions during the in-home visit. Over the next several days, Ed prepared proposals for three different brands which we had discussed. The links to the Best Buy website to examine some of the models covered in the proposals also helped us make our final decision.
After we placed our order for the brand of kitchen appliances we wanted, Ed was always in regular contact with us to advise us about when our appliances would be available for installation. He guided us through in-home measurement survey and installation. Ed has answered and addressed all of the concerns and issues we encountered in an empathetic and professional manner.
We would happily do business again with Ed Caufield and Best Buy!

We needed support at home to choose a 65" tv and wall mount since my mom was unable to leave her home due to health issues. With a free home consultation from Best Buy, the consult by Chris provided exactly what we needed...clear communication and support, listening to our needs without any pushy sale tactics, honesty, respect, and a guy who knew his stuff who could also communicate it clearly to my mom and me. And did I mention all while in our home via video so he could "see" our situation and offer his expertise! He guided us with options yet respectfully stayed within our budget. Color and sound were our concerns when choosing a tv since room can be bright due to windows and open walls create sound issues with volume needing to be louder than normal to hear quality. Yet sound and color are working out great for us with this Sony tv! We still have some cord management issues and will either follow up with Chris or purchase cord covers. Feeling confident about the follow through with Chris regardless and looking forward to another purchase with Chris for our next projects...tv and wall mount in moms room and Ring security cameras. With an annual membership I feel I can count on the support from the Best Buy home consult to get these projects complete!

Not being ‘techy’ people, we needed help choosing the best tv & sound system for our home. Contacting Best Buy for a home consultation & installation was the best decision we made! Alec made more than 1 trip to the house as our remodel progressed. Every component of Alec’s configuration, from speakers to tv, laptop and wifi are AMAZING! We are enjoying music from any & all parts of our 3500 sq foot home as well as on both patios which sit on opposite ends of the house. The range and control options are phenomenal as well as the quality of sound! Everything exceeds our expectations! Alec’s knowledge of all the latest technology and products enabled him to find the perfect fit for our situation. The install crew, George and Paden, also did an exceptional job! So thankful Best Buy offers this service and employs top notch people like this team of men! No regrets here, only gratitude! Well done Best Buy! I first met Mike when he assisted me in creating a TV and home speaker system for our home. It's been a year and we continue to enjoy the entertainment system.
Recently, our daughter had a birthday and I decided to give her my Empire turntable. It was purchased in November of 1981. It has never been opened. Contacted Mike who agreed to help me put together the turntable as we had purchased other equipment from Best Buy. We had no Idea what to expect when we opened the Empire Turntable box for the first time. Mike thought this and had all the necessary back up equipment and he was instrumental in putting together the unit and it worker perfectly. I could not have completed this birthday gift without Mike's help. He stayed with me and answered all my questions as we discussed the upkeep and other topics associated with maintaining this vintage piece of equipment. What stood out the most to me was Mike's attitude and willingness to help. He was genuinely excited about this venture and wanted to ensure all went well. Mike is now a friend. Mike was the face of Best Buy that evening and I will be ever grateful for his willingness to come alongside to help me create a special evening for our daughter's birthday.

I learned about the in-home consultation on my first trip into Best Buy in many years. I went in because I recalled that stores had media rooms that I may be able to see an ultra short throw projector. My local store did not have that ability. But, they recommended an in-home consult. We scheduled the visit and Eric was our consultant. I had done some research and was able to ask the questions I had. Eric confirmed some of my thoughts and provided good insight into audio options. We ended up going with the projector I had in mind. But, we added the Sonos Arc, on Eric's recommendation. VERY happy with the selection, and the service Best Buy and Eric provided.
