Stacey Rybar was excellent as a home consultant. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure that everything that I wanted was properly understood and my needs were met. She revised my bid a number of times to match competitive prices, looked for sale prices, provided good communication throughout the process, and had good advice for location of items in two different rooms. I couldn't have been more pleased.

Scheduling of appointment was prompt and efficient. Consultant arrived on time and was knowledgable; however, there was no follow-up. I had to call multiple times. With many apologies, I was transferred to a new salesperson and everything went smoothly in the ordering process. Still waiting for installation to finalize this transaction.

The clarity and color is amazing -- Visually genius picture. Not sure how to use all Smart TV features and really wish there was an educational course on "how to" and "how to stream" etc. The installer (Feli) was very very good. He was patient and understanding and a great Geek Squad member. Would ask for him again!

We had an in home consultation to discuss speakers for radio as well as surround sound for TV/movies. He provided several options at varying prices for us to choose from and then suggested an in store consultation to actually view the speakers. Overall I felt like he did a good job of giving us several options.

I'm in the market for a new entertainment hub for my man cave. I scheduled my in home consultation with a member of the Best Buy audio video department. I greeted the geek squad consultant at my door and took him to the man cave. He went to work instantly taking measurements and giving friendly professional advice. He gave me a few ideas I had yet to explore. Having an in home professional who is experienced in audio/visual entertainment was extremely helpful.

Derek did an awesome job installing my new 70" TV. He was great about keeping me up to date on his arrival time, minimizing my need to wait around. He was courteous, professional and efficient. He gave me some great advice for future additions to my home theatre. The installation went smoothly and Derek made sure I understood how to operate everything. He was very tidy, he organized the excess parts for me to store for possible future use, and he took all the empty packaging/trash with him.

Hard to review after just two days, but so far it's great. Backlit keyboard and plenty of ports including a USB-C for futures. Got it Open Box so even though not cheap I feel it was a good buy. Best was Brandon's help in Holland MI store. Very knowledgeable, not pushy just informative. like I like

Consultation was completed and speakers ordered. Day of installation there was a problem with where speakers could be installed. Had to upgrade to smaller pricier speakers, but found them at different store and they were price matched so all back to original pricing basically. Installation set for May 30, 2015.

I wanted to simplify my home theater (Previous set up; 2 big B&W floor speaker, B&W center channel and a 12" Velodyne Sub), and was unsure of the direction I needed to be heading. The Magnolia Consultant came to my home, looked at the space, talked about what I wanted to achieve, and then talked about my options. Absolutely worth the time and $ to do this. It actually didn't cost anything as the consultation fee is reimbursed when you make your next purchase.

I was in the market for a new TV and was unsure what my options were and what I needed to purchase (if my existing surround sound would work or if I need new). The Geek Squad came out and measured the space and suggested I do the wall mount and the largest TV to fit the space was 55 inch. They took care of everything - ordered all the equipment, cables, remotes, mounts for the new TV and additional equipment I needed to move the old TV in the other room. Great job!

The in-home consultation was helpful in the fact that the Magnolia representative can recommend features & products throughout the home. However, I was disappointed to learn that I still have to hire an electrical contractor to install new outlets behind the 3 different TV's that I am going to mount.

From the moment he walked into my house for his evaluation, Michael was very knowledgeable and professional. His help in choosing my products and patience were superb. Installation by him and Raymond went great. They were both very patient with me in explaining usage, etc. What wonderful young men you have in your organization. They both deserve a raise! Thank you for a great experience in dealing with Best Buy but, most especially, with Michael and Raymond.

Technician who came to install and wire. Audio equipment to our TV was obviously highly experienced and easily handled unexpected glitches that came up as a result of a less experienced salesman not identifying all the needs for the installation. End result turned out well with myself going out and purchasing additional needed parts while technician was doing the equipment installation. All was accomplished in a minimal amount of time.

the Sony 4K produces vivid color, great motion with no blur and is fast to boot up and be ready to watch. The Sonos sound system works beautifully in the room with the television, but also because we bought two of the small speakers we have sound anywhere we want it. In addition, the installation provided by Jeff Tarrant, was done right, done on time and done with skill and tact. He did a wonderful job teaching us how to use the system after he finished the install

The Geek Squad was amazing - both the installation of our new home theater system as well as the in-home consultation prior to installation. Everyone was very knowledgeable, offered excellent advice and exceptional service. They were very professional, hard working, thorough and courteous. I have never utilized the geek squad service previously however will not hesitate to utilize them for any future purchases. Thank you!!

5 stars for installation, minus 5 for "consultation." Installers know what they are doing, are honest about the so-called consultant's lousy recommendations, and do a great job installing. Consultants are just travelling salespersons who do not know the first thing about home theater. My consultant walked around living room and recommended in-wall speakers that installer (three weeks later) said would not work. So, I had to send everything back, buy something else and reschedule installation (three more weeks). Do your own research online; many internet sellers have specs and recommendations. Skip the consultation and go straight to the installation. Or, if you feel you really need advice selecting equipment and speakers, hire someone who does just that for a living and knows what they are doing.

We decided to buy some new televisions the store sales person recommended we have an in store consultant come to the house. The consultant was very knowledgeable about the products and set us up with a new system. It is a very helpful service and it is offered at no cost.

The representative was knowledgeable and helpful he advised me of what will be needed to get the best sound for my room. The only issue I had was reference behide priced suggestions for equipment, after we discussed my budget then we were able to find equipment more suitable for me

I needed to install surround sound in my newly purchased home and have my components connected. I was treated well at the Magnolia store in Folsom and arranged for a consultation in my home. The technician was very knowledgeable. He met me in the store to select a TV. The install went smoothly and the installers were over the top detailed about speaker placement and care for my home. The system is awesome and I loved the whole experience!

This was well worth the money, $99.00 for a home theater consultation. I had 3 members of the Geek Squad at my house and I explained what I wanted to achieve and I was told what needed to be done as preparation and what to expect. I have done the preparation work and am now waiting to purchase the components and installation service to make my dream a reality. I was given some great suggestions and realistic expectations.
