Looks like very strong construction and includes wiring diagram for 3 and 4 prong 220v install. Does not include power cord so that's another $25 to add to the price.

Checked marked all of those plus the capacity for both the washer and dryer is much larger than I was expecting. Just did a test wash and dry and all worked flawlessly. Its a good feeling when you think you made the right choice!

If I put more that one thing in it unbalances and does not allow me to rebalance it no matter what I do. I have to take sopping wet clothes and hang them outside. That is is I can get the washer to open because it stays locked. The lights and bells never seem to stop even though there is nothing there. The drying makes everything so very wrinkled.

The wash cycle makes a repetitious mechanical noise that is highly unpleasant. I can't focus on my work on my computer listening to it. Might be useful for torturing POW's. The spin cycle sounds like one of my son's drum solos. Other than that, the machine and dryer (which is normal and quiet) are fine. Our family solution: wash clothes when we're not home so we don't have to hear the racket. Put clothes in the dryer when we return home. Voila!

The washer is too loud & it has no opening for fabric softener. I'm trying different settings to prevent clothes from coming out wrinkled. Dryer is ok. I went through a lot to get this unit and now I'm not too happy. I loved my old stackables which I had for 18yrs.

Posted .LadyV, we regret hearing that you are not content with your laundry center. This particular model-FFLE3911QW is not equipped with a fabric softener dispenser. We recommend you follow your fabric softener label instructions (add diluted fabric softener to the final rinse). You may also use a fabric softener dispensing ball. Factors such as improper installation, unbalanced wash loads, and foreign objects could be the cause of the sounds you are are experiencing. Over-drying, high temperature, and overloading could cause wrinkling. We also recommend you remove items as soon as cycles end from the washer and dryer to prevent wrinkling. While your laundry center doesn’t have a dispenser for fabric softener, you can add diluted fabric softener to the final rinse.
