Room is 12 x 18 with cathedral ceiling, which is probably the issue. Should have purchased the 10k btu unit. Switches to eco mode unless you bypass. Like most units you have to set the temp 5 degrees lower or it stops cooling too soon. Could not get remote to work at first. Showed temp but pressing buttons did nothing. Maybe my fault as it works now.
