I read the reviews before purchasing and I agree -- this is a solid unit that won't break the bank. Not a lot of fancy features but has what you need. Burners light quickly every time. Clean up is easy. Only wish is that the display/buttons were a little more intuitive (push "cancel" to turn off the oven).

I really love this stove from Frigidaire. The oven heats up in half the time of my previous one (7 minutes to 400 deg.). The rapid boil burners put out plenty of heat to get the water boiling quickly. I love the swappable cast iron griddle grate in the center, although the grease reservoir could have a little more capacity and/or be easier to empty mid-cooking. Overall this is a great stove for the money.

This was my wife's choice and I found it on sale at Best Buy for $799. She loves the griddle in the middle for hamburgers, pancakes, etc. The griddle can be swapped with a grate to give you five top burners when you need them. Each burner is a different size and BTU rating. There's a big burner which will boil water very quickly or heat anything really fast. There's a small burner to use for simmering or just to keep something warm while everything is finishing. The hookup was pretty easy since we replaced an older gas range. We are very pleased with the performance of this product.

Our first Gas Range and what a joy! Love most everything about it! Especially fast food preparation :-) The consistent temperature is definitely a plus for baking which my wife loves to do. One thing we think is not so good is the location of the control knobs. They tend to get pretty hot when the oven is on! Not a good thing for little hands and the slightest bump up against these knobs causes it to turn slightly yet enough to release the gas. That one is definitely not good!

Cooking with this range has been wonderful! I just baked a cake last night and it baked evenly and to the exact time it should have taken. My husband does most of the cooking and he loves it! I was afraid that the stainless steel would be hard to keep clean with 2 young children in the house, but the finish on this particular appliance does not show smudges and comes clean without having to buy any special stainless steel cleaner (just warm water and dish soap). Can't say a single bad thing about this range. Buy it, you won't regret it!

We bought this Oven to replace and old GE oven that finally died. Best Buy delivery and installed with no problems. Delivery guys where great! They even hauled away the old one for free. We have had this oven about 3 weeks. We have used the Oven a few times and it works great. The cook top works great. We have not used the convection part of the oven yet so I can't rate that right now. The cook top is easy to clean but it is black so you will have to clean it every time you use it which you should do anyways. It came with the grill pan as well. The only negatives I can say about this oven is that it did not come with a broiler pan and you have to go online to get the instruction manual but was not a big deal. We kept the old broiler pan from the old oven. All in all we are very happy with this oven and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice good priced oven. Best Buy was the cheapest price on this oven and I look at all the big box stores.

LOVE our new stove. Did a lot of research. My hubby is an excellent cook and I wanted to buy him a beautiful, professional stove. After reading all the reviews and visiting the big box stores I finally chose this based on the Consumer Reports highest rating for the lowest price. I originally wanted a high end stainless steel slide in model, but the ratings were so low that I refused to spend the money for one. I originally bought it at Lowe's but then saw it on sale at Best Buys for more than $100 less. Lowe's was willing to match the price but they didn't have the free griddle. Lowe's kindly refunded my money and I reordered it at BB. Love that it has metal knobs (not plastic painted to look like metal). Cast iron grates are great, allow you to slide pots around. Griddle replaces middle grate when needed. The grate/griddle can be stored in bottom drawer. Like that middle burner is long so it heats entire griddle. Has one simmer burner, 2 quick boil, and one regular plus the oblong center one mentioned above. Love convection feature (reduce cook time accordingly. Like that bottom oven rack pulls out automatically when you open the door. Also got a $50.00 BB gift certificate because my old stove was a Kenmore.

This is a very nice range and me and my wife absolutely love the design of the cooktop. It has 4 burners of different sizes and a big middle burner with an included griddle! The convection oven bakes everything evenly.

Since getting this new stove I have noticed that things cook a lot faster than my old stove. The burners are great and since they vary in size each can be used for different sized pots or pans making the flame much more efficient. This saves on gas consumption and cooking time. So far this stove has been the best.

Very nice oven/range. Nice fit and finish with features and appearance of higher priced models. Intuitive controls. Easy cleaning. Nice options. Little tight re spacing of the burners if one wanted to use 3 or more of them at once..but not a real issue. I've had this stove a little more than a month and really like it.

This stove is everything I expected. It's definitely the best in its class range. The stove grates are heavy and the shelves and oven door are better quality than others I compared it to. It works like a dream and the fifth burner in the middle is sooo convenient! All stoves should have one!

Been needing a gas range for awhile now and took the chance to grab this one. Easy to set up and adjust. Works perfect for my situation. Had to go get a hookup kit for it elsewhere because they were on backorder through bestbuy. Guess a lot of ppl bought ovens during Christmas.

Appearance is great. Ease of cooking and baking great. Functionality of cooking and baking great. Clean up is good; middle burner/griddle could use a stainless steel cover. The baking/broiling smell, even after a full cleaning and multiple uses, is still overpowering in the house, but not on the food. I would still purchase and recommend.

I bought this stove to replace one that was approximately 18 years old. Setup and getting it hooked up was easy. I haven't used the convection or the self cleaning features yet, but even if they don't work, this stove is fantastic. The oven heats evenly and maintains a constant temperature. The burner knobs allow for a consistent setting and hold the same flame time after time. The only con I have is a personal one. I didn't care that each burner has a different BTU range, but I'm getting use to that. The stove top and grates are easy to clean. The way the sealed burners and stove top are set up make it easy to clean up spills and boil overs. The front of the stove is also easy to clean. If you enjoy cooking I would highly recommend this stove. It's not the fanciest out there but it more than gets the job done. I did a lot of research online before I bought this brand and model, and I feel I made the right choice when I decided on this one. I have always enjoyed cooking and this stove adds to that enjoyment.

This gas range exceeds all expectations. We almost purchased the similar model from HD but I discovered that BB's model included the oval griddle burner and the convection oven feature at a lower price. The BB model also comes with the griddle as a nice bonus. We like the three large grates across the stove top which allow pots and pans to slide easily from one location to another. The oven is very easy to use and it heats twice as fast as our old gas range. As a matter of fact, we find that just about everything cooks about 30% faster on this new range, including tasks such as boiling water for pasta. The convection oven feature is very useful and totally silent. For the first few oven uses (normal or convection), there is a "new oven" odor that is emitted but that has decreased with more usage. If you have good ventilation, it shouldn't be a problem. The control panel is easy to use but be sure to read the owner's manual to fully understand how everything works. Overall, we couldn't be happier with the quality and features of this Frigidaire Gallery range and it looks great in stainless steel!

We really like this range. It's easy to use and one of the few on the market that has burner grates that don't feel grainy to the touch. The grates are separated into 3 sections which makes them easier to clean too. We went with gas simply because we have power outages in the winter that can go on for days. The oven warms up much quicker than our old electric range and gas is so much easier to cook with than electric. It has more stainless steel than most of the other gas ranges too, so fits into our predominantly white kitchen perfectly. So far so good. We love it.
