I’m a old Tom Tom guy. I’ve had 2 Tom toms and replaced a very old Tom Tom 4EQ50 z1230 with Garmin Drive 52. I’m very happy with the Garmin. It is very fast and navigation is similar to Tom Tom. The only feature I miss is the Australian Female voice, which I have not been able to find for Garmin. I definitely would buy it again and also recommend it to others.

This replaces a garmin I had for 12 years. Map updates are simple. I charged the gps at home. The fully charged battery lasted about an hour. The old one lasted about 3 hours on a full charge. Quality is only average because of the very limited time a fully charged battery lasts.

Easy to setup and use. Easy navigation menus and very accurate so far.

We purchased the Garmin for my Buick. My Buick came with ApplePlay GPS but that only works if you have a smart phone. I do not. So in order to get around during our travels we relied on the Garmin to provide us with all the directions we needed. It does a great job and is easy to use. You can also download the map updates on the Garmin so you can have the most current information.

I really like how cheap this GPS system is. It is easy to use and it is really sturdy.

My old Garmin nuvi 255W refused to turn on so I got the newer model. It certainly is an improvement. The screen is larger and for some reason the voice is clearer and more human sounding. The controls are also easier although at least once it was stuck on a wrongly chosen destination and I had to start over from the beginning. I am pleased with the unit.

It was easy to use and startup was immediate. Great screen and additional options as well.

I've enjoyed the system and glad that I did purchase it. I've been waiting this item for a while and seen that it was sale, could not resist. We used it all in Tampa, FL for a week instead of the cell phones.

Needed to purchase this product for my daughter away at school. The previous Garmin we had purchased many years ago was no longer working. The product has been updated since we last purchased and seems to be slightly improved. It seems to be a good buy for fairly inexpensive map for the car.

I really have nothing bad to say about Garmin GPS units. This one has a nice size display, it speaks the street names for turns and shows what lane you need to be in. I bought this for my wife and she loves all those features, especially in confusing or congested areas. Map updates can be performed regularly and they are fairly easy to do.

We had an older version of the Garmin and I know you can use phones for all maps, but we really like this. The directions are specific and really helps with confusing intersections. This version also tells you which lanes (left two, far right) to be in and also advises if your turn is at a stop light or stop sign. Very helpful.

We got this GPS because we have to travel alot. So far it's worked perfectly. Love the way it tells what the upcoming exit is because we were using Google Maps on our phones and it didnt tell u the exit number until u were right on top of it. I also love the way it shows all the lanes on the highway. I would highly recommend this GPS! Great value!!
