The address finder can be a little annoying, as it is simpler to just type in the address and go. Over all I would buy this one again.

I’m not sure if it gives the fastest route possible since I returned it before I could really play with it. I didn’t like that it would only maintain a charge for a minimal time. However, I returned it because to manage (including registering it) and update it one has to do it via computer. Okay...so a lot of products are like that nowadays, but this one requires a download that “may require up to 20 GB of free disk space.”

Posted .While the GPS is ready to use out of the box, we would suggest using the Garmin Express program to check for any map and software updates that may have been made available while the device was in transit and on the retailer’s shelf. He is still living in the flip phone era and so he doesn't have navigation on his phone. This has been a great addition to his truck, helping him find his way on several long trips.

This one is clearer- allows for alerts (although some are too much but you can turn on/off as you need) directions have been spot on & time efficient

As good as my last Garmin that lasted 10 years
