    This Garmin replaced a Garmin in my wife's car. The otherr one had gotten to yhe point that it was not functioning properly,. The new one got us to Canada, and hopefully will get us home.

    love this Garmin. Works great and even has extra features like telling you historic places near by. Been using it almost daily for almost 6 months now and it never did me wrong.

    I love this GPS. It gives excellent directions and addressed landmarks like stop signs along the route so I knew I was following properly.

    I use my phone for GPS and the Garmin I use to see upcoming streets before I get to them. I am a private investigator and need to see the streets and intersections before I get to them as I am following a subject. The Garmin helps tremendously with this because the screen does not time out, unlike your cellphone screen. It does its job! The only con I can think of is if you use it for GPS, the buttons are super sensitive and picks up the wrong letter or number quite often but other than that, its a great tool for me.

    we are still figuring out the settings.my spouse wants it one way and I wished for another setting. Our volume and screen desires are totally different so we are still experimenting as we go. We enjoy the variety of choices and the clear bold graphics offered.

    This gps worked right out of the box, which I appreciate. There have been no connection problems, no lagging, and it is very clear and easy to use. The interface is very user-friendly.

    still learning about the unit. One thing i miss from my Tom Tom but maybe we just have not found the setting is to display current time, and estimated arrival time. it just from what we have found so far displays one or the other. (of course that is not a deal breaker but that is why the 4 star)
