    Save the battery on your phone. Take this on a trip. You can plan your whole triop out ahead of time and the Garmin will take you there in the order you prefer.

    In my city, there is a grid. All the street names are numbers and either north, south, east or west added to let you know which direction the street is and the house. There are mountains to the east so you always know which direction you are going. They say once you learn this grid you can go anywhere without the help of a device. I have lived here 12 years and so totally need this GPS to get around since my job requires me to go to people's homes.

    I bought this device to replace and older unit that the usb connector was going bad. I use this to run our car clubs routes that are made in basecamp and accessed through the trip planner function. the only thing I can't figure out is trip planner to read the SD card, but otherwise works well

    Gifted to my parents. It is just what they wanted as they are not 100 percent comfortable using blue tooth and their phone for navigation. Glad it was available.

    Are used a Garmin years ago and never had a problem got tired of using my phone for directions this was on sale at the time for $99 scooped it up never been happier ! Ty
