You need to be accurate with your spelling when looking for something or it won't find it. I like the directions it gives and the display. Unfortunately for me mine won't work on the battery it has to be plugged in. I may have to call service before the warranty is up for a replacement. that's the only reason I gave it 3 stars could have been 4.

Posted .This device is primarily designed to be powered with the included vehicle power cable however it does include an internal battery that has a battery life of up to 1 hour on a full charge. Garmin Product Support is happy to help if your is lasting much less than an hour from full charge. Support.Garmin.com

I was reluctant at first for another Garmin, but couldn't pass up a discount. So far this new model has performed well. My old Garmin had problems working with a MAC for updates, but this model synced perfectly. The map has been accurate and no apparent lag has been noticed with positioning.

I had a 6" screen TomTom and it seemed to just stop working after a while and was always turning off and resetting and recalculating. I haven't had any trouble with this one. I opted for the smaller 5" screen which is great in my RAV4 and I love the clarity of the maps. This newer model also has a much better way to add stops to a route and move them around. It doesn't involve re-planning the whole route. I really like this one.
