She owns an older car that doesn't have gps and she only drives it while she's in California, so buying a newer vehicle was not an option. Since she gets "turned around" a lot. I decided to get her this and it was like I had handed her a new car. She was so excited! And also the older car speedometer doesn't work and the Garmin tells her if she's speeding! lol Great deal!

Good budget, simple GPS

I replaced a 6" Tom Tom that kept freezing up, so it's a little of a let down going to a 5" screen but it's sharp, easy to read and fast response. I just wish it had the built in suction cup like the Tom Tom.

Excellent tool-great backup for phone GPS

This Garmin is ready to go as soon as it’s on and has proven to be worth the money. The search options are great and you can save favorite locations. Only drawback is at times there is a delay when I am typing an address. Highly recommend.
