Since cell phone technology has escalated and we now have GPS apps on them, stand alone units have very limited usage. Few people now have a GPS mounted in their cars, but I still am one of the few. There is a certain comfort in having an instant road map in front of you as you drive down the road, without fumbling around with a cell phone. So this Garmin does the job, but it is low-tech because the newer Garmins have more features like the wonderful voice activation. So this Garmin is a basic unit at an entry level price, but you are better off buying a better model like the Garmin DriveSmart.

I love my gps as now I don’t have to use my phone. Love that I can see it now.

Works great took me to Florida with no problems. Directions were very accurate all the way there.

Love it!! So much better than my old Garmin. This one gives a low not-annoying sound when (1) I'm over the speed limit even a tiny bit & shows me the speed limit! (2) advises when there are cameras at the crossing, etc etc LOVE IT.

This is an OKAY GPS... the one we had previously was better. This one does NOT give traffic updates as did the other one. So we can get on a highway that is at a total standstill and this Garmin does not light up in red. I find that this Garmin is very slow to calculate or recalculate. What I DO like is that if you change your mind as to where you are going and go a different route other than what Gar is telling you, then it will ask you if you want to skip the next stop and you can hit YES or NO. The BAD thing is that the yes and no buttons are on the smallish side, and many times I've hit NO but since my finger will touch a little bit of the YES, it will skip that spot. I keep a Stylus pen next to Gar and use that. I wish I had bought another Garmin.
