Had a Tom Tom prior and took time to learn my way around the Garmin. Some things were not as intuitive as I expected. Took time to move around from the route to look at local restaurants a an example. But overall it was worth the money.

Also, often times it shows you next to the road, instead of on it. We have replaced this every year as it suddenly stops working completely and won't turn on.

A new download and a little time and all is good. Like how it notifies me of speed limit changes. Also like how it remembers where we were going after restarting the car.
