I often use Google Maps as I glide down I-20, listening to Teddy Pendergrass.....then the Google maps lady messes up the groove by talking over Teddy! This device respects the groove.

Garmin gets the job done

The first one died after three years. I'd rather it was more sturdy; it's a cheap plastic formulation. The Best Buy service is very good, though.

Excellent GPS for the Money

Learned my preferences and routed me that way. I had it on shortest route and it quit suggesting saving a mile instead of bypassing a town on an interstate after I ignored its first suggestions. Lots of options and will take a while to learn but will instantly get you to your destination with little effort.

Would have given it a 5 star, but the info screens on the side do not have as many customizations as some of their older models.
