Never used a auto gps before. always liked to use maps. Guess iam old school . took it on a trip and the thing is great. liked everything about it, even the voice directions . this thing is cool .Best buy never lets me down and its easy to use

Though I have not even used this since it was purchased my past experiences with Garmin devices, this is my 4th one, have always been more accurate than the Navi systems in my past three cars I have owned over the past 20 years.

It did what I wanted it to do and it got me through a 2,000 mile journey in unfamiliar territory. It is a little difficult for my big fingers to type in the information but next time I will bring a stylus.

I love the Garmin that I recently purchased at Best Buy. I had one that I purchased in 2009 and the new one has many more selections on it and it is very easy to use. And the price was right,

This unit came updated and ready to use I just had to charge it up upon purchase so the battery was full. I would definitely recommend this brand over TomTom or such a cheaper brands very great quality & the mount is awesome as well.

I just LOVE my GARMIN GPS. It helped me get to Fort Atkinson and Whitewater to visit my son. Without it I would have never found my way to any of those places by myself. I'm gonna keep using it to get to places I don't know how to get to. VERY GOOD!!

This was purchased as a gift for a friend after he got lost twice trying to get home because of detours. I put in his favorite locations and especially "home". He found it easy to use and enjoys having the support. I recommend it highly.

My mother in law wanted a GPS for the car and she is still on a flip phone. So I wanted to get her a simple navigation system that she could just turn on and use. Install: You have have to plug the device in to a computer, down load a program to update the software and maps. Which is fine. But there is no progress information shown during the upgrade. So I had no idea if it was working. I plugged in the device and let it run for a while. nothing. unplugged the device restarted it let it run some more. Turned it on and off, plugged it in and out and finally it told me that maps were done. Not sure what I did but all of a sudden, success!!! The next morning I was showing her how to type in an address. The typing was agnonizingly slow. Entering address 9. wait wait wait then it shows. 2 wait wait wait then it shows. The UI is a multi step to enter street number then click next then enter street name then click next. It took me a while to figure that out. No prompt nothing. I guess that's ok. Not sure why that's needed. Finally when I got the address in, map came up, nothing happened no routing nothing. I tried the kid's school. That look up worked, but swiping the map around simply was not performing, you couldn't get it to move without choppiness. If your goal is to use the device and avoid not wrapping your car around a tree, this device is not for you. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe it's a defective device, because there's no way they could sell something this bad.

This is a big help for us, we feel more confident on the road.

Good quality basic GPS for the car. Access to the satellite was good and performance was good .

We like the convenience of having the Garmin in our car. I know that you can get directions on your iPhone but with the new rules about using your phone while driving its safer to use the Garmin. Plus on your phone it uses battery life and data.

I am very pleased with my Garmin GPS. Frankly, I am still discovering all of the features, this is definitely a step up from my last GPS.

Good GPS but sorry I didn't get the traffic control model. Did not realize when purchased the traffic control model changes course if road closures (good to have in construction areas). Otherwise gets me from A to B.

Not the greatest system in the world. Does the job for the most part but a lot of destinations cannot be found. Then what’s the point? Free maps updates are a plus.

We like it ok. Haven't really used it too much. When we do, it sometimes had a problem getting us there. maybe be its partly human area.

I would much prefer using my smartphone and google maps which i find easier to use and better directions than the garmin. But this is a great product as a back up if you have no signal. The mounting unit did not stick well so i found it useless

I purchased this as a replacement to an older Garmin. There are some changes from the previous model that need to get used to. It works fine.

Good GPS. I serve documents in rural areas and this GPS works fine. I don't use the restaurant, gas stations, or hotel finder in it very often, but am confident if I need this feature, it would work well

It does the job. I needed to update it as soon as I bought it and again a month later but the screen is very helpful and it was relatively easy to input addresses.
