I mounted this on my trike to help keep track of my routes and time for each trip. I created a shield to keep it from getting wet while running in rain and snow, because this model is not water resistant.

Had to replace my old Garmin GPS unit. This new one is nice and just better than using my cell phone GPS. Larger display and voice prompts make it worthwhile to use when needed.

A lot better than the TomTom we purchased !! Still learning all the functions.

I bought this for my boyfriend that was going on a long road trip because I knew there would be many areas where he wouldn't have a phone signal in order to use his phone gps. This worked perfectly!

I am satisfied with my Garmin purchase .I had an old out of date Pharos GPS that served me very well but , finally died .

Nice little unit. I like that it gives you landmarks and street names for turns, not just "turn left in a quarter mile". This one will say "turn left at the stop sign onto Main Street"

We purchased this Garmin while it was on sale 3 1/2 weeks before going on a trip out west. It comes with NO manual with basic instructions. We hooked it into our computer, registered it, and tried to download programming. It did NOTHING. After a while, we decided it must have to be charged first and plugged it into the car for charging. Finally, it would download from the computer. Later, we were going to try it out in the car, driving locally, before the trip. Upon plugging it into the car, all it would do is show the "Garmin" logo. Tapping on it did nothing. It seemed stuck. We backed the car out of the garage, since we figured it might not be getting signals. Still nothing. After unplugging & replugging several times and spending 1 1/2 hours, we decided it must need more programming on the computer. So, back to the computer and trying some more downloading. It seemed to be okay, but when we plugged it back into the car, it did the same thing. Too late to return it...it was past the 14 days for returning to Best Buy. It was 21 days. We took it on our trip, but when we plugged it in, it took 15 to 20 min. to get "unstuck," (it just showed the logo "Garmin") so we wouldn't get any service on it that was useful. On a couple of occasions, we could finally get it to the point where we could put in a location and get the driving GPS. However, if we had to stop to eat or get gas, we'd be back to the same problem. We finally gave up on using it and used cellphones. It is worthless. We'll be trashing it or donating it.

Easy to use. Got me to where I wanted to go with accurate routes.

The only problem with this GPS is the keys are too close together and it is difficult to just hit one key.

I was out of town when my old Garmin GPS died. I went to the nearest BBY and they had the perfect Garmin GPS unit for my needs. I was out of the store in less than 10 minutes. Very satisfied.

This has proven to be a great tool, it has so many little extras such as school zone warnings, turn announcements estimated arrival time.

Sometimes it doesn't give instructions fast enough if there is a lot of traffic.

Easy to read. Used with all classic cars while traveling to check correct speed.

It was a Christmas gift and someone thought it was better in their car then for the person it was meant for. It was a replacement for the one that walked away in her car.

Garmin has always been my favorite gps device. It occasionally is not perfect but it could be that it is not fully charged. I will be careful to charge it more often

The screen is nice and easy to follow, but it doesn't recognize any addressee I put in like my old Garmin did.

As usual, I had my Garman Shipped and received it the next day I had my original Garman robbed out of my car, I was "lost" :) without my precious Garman. Wala, the very next day I had a new one.

Basic GPS. Nothing fancy. Works well. A little quiet on the volume.

Bought this for our new vehicle, not as big a screen s our other one, but it works perfect in our second vehicle, like it lot better than the vehicle's Nav...and free map/updates beats the car co. $149.99 for each update.
