I previously had one for 9 years and had very good luck with it. The first thing I did when I took it out of the box was to update the software and maps. When I connected it and tried to use the traffic function, I was told I was using an incompatible power cord. After some research it appears there are 2 flavors of the 52 and one model doesn’t actually have the traffic function even though the button exists. I see no where on the unit or the box where the model number is identified. (poor marketing practice) It can’t seem to find any location I want to go to. Yesterday it took me down a dead end street and told me my location was on the right. It wasn’t. I stopped and restarted my trip and now it told me to back track from where I had just come. My wife spotted the store on our left. I was sitting in the parking lot and it was telling me to continue down the road and turn right. Time to return it and buy something else.
