Well I was very disappointed in this GPS because it never seemed to work right from the start, I even went online and got all the updates loaded into it. In my opinion either something was wrong with the product or it was just a piece of crap product because it constantly wanted to take me off of the highway and send me ways I didn't want to go. While in SC it never sent us in the same direction to the downtown area, 5 different directions 5 times no matter what setting I had it on. Garbage = Do Not waist money on this product ! I returned mine after getting back home and happy I did.

Posted .While the GPS is ready to use out of the box, we would suggest using the Garmin Express program to check for any map and software updates that may have been made available while the device was in transit and on the retailer’s shelf. Item was purchased during off peak hours (weekday late morning) 2 registers working, 1st register was dealing with a problem customer and had been doing so since i stepped in line. i was next in line to checkout. 2nd cashier looks at line (3 people waiting behind me) then leaves register and proceeds to go talk with another employee. waited in line 15+ minutes until 2nd cashier gets another employee to take over register. will not shop there again

Programming kept directing me back to closed highw

There was construction and the highway that the programming directed me to was closed to any traffic. I tried to go around the construction, but the programming kept directing me back to the closed highway. This was very frustrating.

Y comes up P, S some other letter. Have to type in advance of trip because it's takes too long getting it to receive the letters typed correctly. Would take it right back but the box it came in was lost.

Instead of No. 1, 2 & 3, it is a series of options which only my grandson could figure out. My Garmin GPS 20 years ago was very simple -- plug it in and GO. Registering the GPS should be very simple. NOPE!! I may just get a refund and forget it.

Posted .Thank you for your review, I apologize for the inconvenience. The Garmin Drive™ 52 (010-02036-06) does not include traffic out of the box. However, the device is compatible with the GTM™ 36 traffic power cable (010-01009-02) which is sold separately.
The Garmin Drive™ 52 & Traffic (010-02036-07) does include traffic out the box.
