Customers appreciate the Drive 61 LM 6.1" GPS's ease of use, large screen size, and accurate GPS navigation. Many also highlight the value of the lifetime map updates and the affordable price. While some users experienced issues with battery life and touchscreen responsiveness, the positive feedback on core features outweighs these concerns. Good Garmin except for clamp.

I really like it, especially the size because it's easy to read without getting too distracted. Only problem is in the warmer months the clamp comes loose all the time and I have to just sort of wedge it in against the window.

I find Garmin products easier to use than smartphone apps. This model performs route recalculation much faster than the previous model I'd owned. I use it in my work truck and often have to ignore the chosen route because of weight limits or common sense telling me not to take my truck down certain streets.

This one seems to be working fine so far. When I purchase this one the clerk said that it had the Traffic app. When I connected to Garmin express I found out that I have to have a smart phone or buy a traffic cable. When I contacted Garmin per phone they said the traffic cable would cost $69.95.

Errors are many; told me I was on a one way street the one way was the next street over. Speed limit change will stay on the screen even after leaving the zone. Identifies school zones that don't exist. Other times does not show the actual school zone. Does not always give the speed limit on certain roadways. Overall it will get you where you are going.

Took it out of town and we loved that we didn't have to worry about service in the mountains! Would have given 5 stars but it can be a bit blonde sometimes, took us down some unnecessary detour roads, but ended up having good scenery. Overall we are satisfied with this purchase.

Wanted to try this, as sometimes I had issues with my phone. I liked having a dedicated display in the car. the field inputs are not as "smart" as a phone, but I liked the split visualizations it gives when you're at an offramp.

The only thing I would change is the voice. It would be nice to have a deeper masculine voice.

I really like this GPS. I was most impressed with the ease and intuitiveness of data entry / destination selection, as well as the other features such as speed zone and school zone alerts, fatigue warning, curves, slower traffic, etc. It also interfaces with Garmin backup cameras. Great unit!

One if the things that attracted me was the bigger viewing area.
I also like the built in Trip Advisor app. We used it on our recent trip to find motels. There is also a find the nearest food, gas, attractions, rest areas feature lots more useful information than the old GPS.

I bought this device when my gps started to glitch out and stopped taking a charge. I rely on the gps every time we go down states and visit many different places we aren't used to. This tool is something that everyone should have with limited cellular service.

Battery life is very bad. Figure on using it plugged into your car. It is also very cumbersome to put in your destination. It does not allow you to modify the route as I could could tell. Kept trying to put me on back roads that wasn't good to travel on.

Replaced an older model Garmin GPS with life time map and traffic. Never used the traffic option on older model. Worked great right out of the box and easy to get adjusted to, as most Garmins function similarly.

Purchased this unit because of low to no cell signal in the region I was working in. Easy to use and the POI uploaded from the Garmin site made coordinates easy to reference without having to type in every time.

So far, so good. Only one problem noticed ... put in one address and GPS took me to another address with a similar name ... was not pleased about that since it was miles out of the way. BUT, over all, it has worked like a charm.
