The device is very good. The voice commands are good but not great. Even after doing map updates there are addresses that it doesn't recognized but Google maps does. The Bluetooth sync is a nice add on feature

Although I like the upgrade from my old Garmin, I'm disappointed with the voice command and the ability to type in the names of restaurants or places of interest and have any luck with them displaying. That feature seems to have downgraded from my previous Garmin. The detail on lane changes, exits, etc is nice. Also when I make a wrong turn, it doesn't give the "recalculating" message... it just does it!

Purchased the Garmin to replace a worn out old one and I will always go back to upgrade or replace this one when needed. Great staff and customer service very polite and helpful.

I was looking to get a stand-alone GPS mainly for work as I am on the road a lot and finding locations by coordinates often. It does a great job locating things by coordinates and addresses both. The display is easy to read out the corner of your eye as you drive, and the voice alerts help too. I you're looking for a simple stand-alone GPS, this one is great. Now, there are only 3 things that I would change. These may be better on more pricey models but these are just a few things I would like to have that this one doesn't. First, make sure to turn off dirt roads or else it will take you down some back roads that don't exist or is someone's backyard. Secondly, I wish there was a quick zoom out that showed the entire remainder of your route. That would help to give some perspective on how far you have left to go. Finally, maybe I'm doing something wrong that I have to look at more, but the traffic isn't too reliable. It loads and alerts me sometimes, other times I'm sitting in stopped traffic and it says no traffic on my route. I may have to look into that more to get it to update correctly. There you go, hope the review helps!

i liked the voice command, good loarge screen, life long traffic and map update. All in all good product.

it is a great gps but even after updating maps it didn't seem to know the construction zones and newer streets yet. My older gps has already picked up some of the newer streets. Other than that it is a lot more concise on what lane to be in and gives more warning before a turn off.

Our experience at Best Buy was great. Nick did a great job explaining everything to us. I would definitely go back and shop there again. Thank you for the great customer service.

This GPS is great for someone that needs to talk on the phone a lot while driving. It's my 3rd Garmin and I like it the best.

I looked at a lot of GPS units and this is the best one I saw. Lifetime Maps and Lifetime Traffic updates. Can't get any better then that for the price.

Good, but voice command function is not perfectly and traffic report is not immediately. For example, I put the address, the traffic alert is not show me before starting. Anyway, it is good generally.

The Garmin GPS with built-in Bluetooth and Lifetime Map is a great product! I’m not good with driving directions (even in my own neighborhood!), that’s why this is such a handy gadget. The voice command is perfect and provides an announcement for turns before you get to the intersection. The maps are very accurate and includes driving directions for nearby restaurants, gas stations and shopping. I’m very pleased with the purchase.

So much better than the Tom Tom GPS. Biggest concern that you enter a street address and you have to sort through various cities (choices) - it would be better if we could put in the destination city.

This was a gift for my daughter. She states that the Garmin works great and really helps in her finding locations. Plus she likes the feature of free life time map updates

Device provided great information other systems I've used haven't...speed limits, multi-lane directions...kept me out of a big traffic jam on the highway. So far so good!

Looks good, it's actually for my wife. I think we need some more time before we can issue an accurate review. This was a replacement for an older Garmin unit. Our daughter 'inherited' the older one.

Bought this unit while on vacation, and an old GPS was failing us. Because we didn't immediately update it at the hotel, we didn't know until later that we could get announced street names. Love the lane assist, though because we were in a confusing city, we still screwed up until we got use to the Garmin's lingo. Now that we've had it for a few weeks, we are much happier with it. Saving a place, is a little more confusing than our old one. Paid a little more than I would have liked to.

Purchased for my granddaughter to send her safely to college which is 6 hours away. Since I could not be there I wanted something reliable to get her there and back safely.
