This model is a high-capacity, feature-rich front-load washer with many of GE’s premium technologies: steam cleaning, a smart detergent dispenser, antimicrobial protection, and the enhanced UltraFresh Vent System+ designed to help prevent odors after each wash. It’s stackable and designed to replace older 4.5 – 4.8 cu ft models with more space and efficiency. UltraFresh Vent System+ & anti-odor tech This feature combined with Microban helps reduce mold and smell issues common in front-load washers — which is a big plus if you’ve dealt with that before. There are times where water stays in the dispenser tray after a wash — so I just usually combat this by manually drying it with a towel to prevent mold. I had electronic/control board failures at the five year mark. Owned the 4.8cu and cost would have been over $500 so i just purchased a new washer during black Friday and it was this new 5.3cu.

If you have a large family, you might want to consider a slightly larger load capacity. This particular model has been good for my family consisting of 2 adults and 2 kids. Sometimes I wish we could have a larger load capacity, but our apartment space wouldn't allow for a bigger machine. Overall, the machine works really well and we haven't had any issues. I installed this unit myself at my apartment complex and it was my first time connecting a washer and dryer. Took me about 6 hours to do as I made some rookie mistakes. Point being is that these machines are fairly easy to hookup and maintain.

Great washer. Capacity is awesome. I love the built-in laundry liquid capacity. It dispenses automatically. I love the quality of the stainless steel tubs for the washer and dryer. I love all of the features and amenities. The steam wash comes in handy for our sheets and other articles that require some Sanitation. Overall I would highly recommend this particular machine it is very stylish particularly when matched with the complementary dryer. They talk to each other so you tell the dryer what kind of clothes are inbound from the washer that'll automatically set itself to drive that particular type of load. Changing my laundry room to match the navy blue of these particular machines.

This set is absolutely amazing. The auto dispense feature makes it easy for anyone to do laundry at my house. It's literally: push power, pick setting and push start. Husbands can work this, LOL. This is my 8th purchase of this exact set. Every time we sell a house, the buyers demand that we leave it there. Every vacation house we buy, this set goes there too. I bought this set for 3 of my adult kids as housewarming gifts.

This GE washer is well built and washes well. The smart soap dispenser is a huge plus. The WiFi is pretty handy throu the GE app. It's a little loud when pumping water but maybe those are my pipes vibrating, I don't know. Other than that, I highly recommend this washer. Now I just need a dryer that matches

Great washer. Relatively quiet with lots of options. I also I can put 50fl oz of detergent in and it will use the correct amount. I fill it once ever several washes an do not worry about it. It will also announce when clothes are done through my phone or Alexa

Great so far! It is large and we had to remove some trim to get it in the door. Unfortunately it was scratched in the process but I am still very happy with the machine itself. It seems to wash well, fits a lot of clothes and the vent feature is really nice. I spent way too long researching and comparing deals. This washer is worth it.

This front load washer is by far the BEST washer I have ever owned. I’m a mother to three, grandmother to eight so my door is always revolving. The spin cycle leaves every load needing minimal time in the dryer.

I enjoy the extra cubic feet the GE provides vs the old 4.5 I had in my older Kenmoore model. Definitely can tell the difference in size when washing comforters and mattress pad covers with room to spare. The machine runs uber quiet and I can barely hear it running in the next room. Love the ultra fresh vent feature that runs after the washing cycle has ended and you’ve taken your clothes out to prevent standing water from being inside of the drum which eliminates the possibility of mold buildup over time. The Microban rubber used on the outer part of the drum cylinder was definitely a plus also to eliminate mold from standing water. And the blue color compliments my basement/laundry room area. Overall, I’ve been pleased with it the past several weeks and enjoy the fact that it’s stackable and replaced my old smaller easily in the same exact spot wirhout compromising width space.

Washer washes great. Washer is a bit loud like a thumping noise while washing.

I recently purchased the GE 5.3 cubic feet front-load washing machine in sapphire blue, and it’s exceeded my expectations. I never would’ve thought I would own a front load washer and came across this washer off someone I follow on TikTok. The first one I got was broke wouldn’t stop squeaking and made horrible sounds changing cycles. Exchanged for a new one with no issues what so ever now I love that it dries the inner of the washer to prevent mold. My favorite feature is the washer sends you notifications when the loads almost done, finished, and if the load has stayed 30 mins in washer after cycle ended. I never knew I needed this feature and it’s been a lifesaver. I would recommend this washer to anyone who’s thinking about trying to save space make more storage. We’re in the process of making space and to have the option to dry vs leave the door open in small laundry closets aren’t an option. Next step is to buy the dryer just wanted to try the washer first and fell deep. Honestly if you plan to stack I wouldn’t recommend the drawer washer doesn’t sit to low.

this machine actually washes your clothing, better than other regular commercial machines... I was blown away at how my clothing came out, looking deeper colors, fresher, and overall more new after the washing cycle and drying cycle. The machines are easy to operate even for those who do not like Tech capability to fill up the soap with 50 ounces of liquid detergent is a game changer and we Only have to mess with the soap, about once a month. Installation was also easy and straightforward for the electric models. I would highly recommend these units to anybody in the market. The only small Criticism I have is that the top panels dent kind of easily as they are a bit thin.

WoW! What an Awesome Washing Machine. 1st front load, after replacing my 31yo GE washer. Hemmed and Hawed over the newer, top load washers, some with agitators, some without. Examining the cleaning cycle of the front load, I clearly see a better quality clean, and no "jeans~ball" to untangle once the cycle is complete! ❤️ GE!!!

Great. I love it. Has the biggest capacity out there which allows me to wash all my heavy comforters with absolutely no issues whatsoever. Easy to use, bluetooth easy to use with the app. I have zero complaints after 1 month of getting this washer dryer combo. It definitely was worth the purchase. Glad I bought it on Cyber Monday and got a great deal during that time.
