SWARD GO SWISH HEHEHE
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No joke this is probably the best game I have played in years. The combat system is tight even if a bit shallow. There's nuance or blind button mashing and either seems to work. The story and presentation is breathtaking and there are twists that will bring a tear to even the most heartless. The scenery is gorgeous and you will catch yourself just looking for hours more than once.

A Masterpiece
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An open world game with one of the most in-depth environments I have ever experienced. The environmental storytelling is fantastic. Gameplay and combat is fun and exciting, allowing you to approach situations in multiple ways. The story allows you to take your own path through the content, and has dozens of side missions and areas to explore. One of, if not the best game of 2020.

Great action and learning curve isn't that steep.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great action game. Controls are fluid and fairly intuitive. Audio is out of this world, especially the sound effects. Graphics are very sharp even on the base PS4. Good voice acting and great story line so far. Lots of historical references to Feudal Japan. A very polished game and well worth the wait.

This game is amazing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't say enough good about this game. Nice story. Fulfilling combat options. Multiple difficulty options that suit your ability and play style. And the loading times.....wow the loading times. Why can't every other game do this? You barely have time to read the tips because it loads so quick! The game is gorgeous, even on a non-pro PS4. It's worth every bit of full price.

Best samurai simulator
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the samurai game we've all been waiting for. This game has a beautiful open world, great combat and nice story. If you've been holding out for a samurai game, THIS IS THE ONE. This game is more realistic than something like Sekiro or Nioh so don't expect a bunch of giant monsters. Overall, this is game of the year material right here. BUY IT!

Must Have Playstation Exclusive
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is a must have for any Playstation owner. It's one of the best titles I've played in years for so many reasons. The graphics are amazing for one thing, even better on the Ps4 Pro if you have it. Great story, great voice acting, combat is superb, I just can't say enough about it. Pick it up, you won't regret it.

The end of an Era
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game came at the perfect time for me. As with the pandemic going on I have used some time to go back and enjoy games I missed out on growing up. Sucker Punch Productions comprising a decent portion as I went back and experienced the Sly Cooper games and the Infamous franchise. If you are at all familiar with either of those with positive feelings I would say buy this immediately and enjoy. The music, environments, and story put together to provide the experience of a life time. Drawing me in to search every inch of its world as I have gone through it. Sucker Punch's Infamous Second Son being the most recent in memory of their games that I played was short and sweet for me. It didn't feel drawn out and for only a few hours I felt glad and motivated for a second playthrough. Whereas here with Ghost of Tsushima the game is exponentially bigger and I can't wait to reach new game plus as this game is satisfying at almost every turn and encounter. No matter if you rely on direct combat or stealth they are well designed and so fun. I regularly switched approaches within the same mission just to get as much as I could of both.

Hopefully first of many games.
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.100% worth your time. I really hope this becomes a new longstanding IP for Sony. I don't think it got as much praise as Horizon Zero Dawn received, but it should be right behind it in terms of quality and value. Visuals, combat, story, etc.. it all feels very well done. Very cinematic.

Beautiful, fun, addicting, intuitive
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to get into. The open world seemed intimating but it has simple mechanics. You don’t need to collect a bunch of items to unlock rewards. You even get an outfit to help you track collectibles early. Combat is tough but fair. I died a lot early but once you learn the mechanics and the timing, it becomes second nature. It teaches you patience and reading your opponents. Characters are fun and interesting. You play as Jin Sakai to fight for Tsushima. Then gather allies to fight for a cause. Yuna, the thief; Ryuzo, the rival; Masako, the old soldier; Ishikawa, the mentor; and many more. What the game does best is the atmosphere. Whether it is the next flower field, enemy territory, hot springs, you always have something to do. The world is massive but you get to your destination fairly quickly. If not fast enough, you can fast travel by unlocking destination. You can go wrong with this game, you’re gonna have a great time. It rewards you if you’re patient with it and explore the world around you. Get the game!

Awesome Samurai Game!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is set on Tsushima Island in the late 13th century. It features diverse regions, such as countrysides, fields, Shinto shrines, forests, villages, farms, mountainscapes, and various landmarks. Players encounter numerous characters, friends, and unlikely allies while adventuring.

One of PS4's best games
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There isn't anything about Ghost of Tsushima that is particularly different from other games out there on a surface level. It seems to check the boxes for what would pass as a dime-a-dozen open world game these days if you were to condense it to bullet points. What makes this game special then, I think, is the way everything fits together and is presented. The world design, the combat system, the story, the sidequests, the armor upgrades, the art design, the animation, it all gets woven together seamlessly in a way that most other games fail to do. It feels like a game made with love and authenticity where the whole development team was in-tune with each other. Nothing feels out of place, or takes you out of the moment. All in all, Ghost of Tsushima just feels like a good showcase for what videogames should be in 2020.

Great Game - Looks Beautiful on PS5
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ghost of Tsushima is one of the best games I have played for PS4, it is up there with Horizon Zero Dawn, Last of Us and the Uncharted games. Gameplay is super fun! There are so many different approaches you can take when encountering enemies. You can go right in "guns a blazing"; you can use stealth, ghost weapons, bow and arrow or a combination of those strategies. I never thought the gameplay was repetitive. However, I thought the dialog was repetitive, but I won't ding the game for something that minor. Duels are a unique aspect to this game. There are no ghost weapons or gimmicks, it is you versus your opponent. The duels are super exciting, I just wish there were even more! Story line is captivating - I am already looking forward to a Ghost of Tsushima 2 or some DLC! For $40 this game is an absolute steal.

A good samauri epic
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ghost plays like a weird cross of the witcher, assissins creed, and breath of the wild. The NPCs and how you interact with them feels similar to witcher 3. The combat is reminiscent of AC. The visuals and feeling of exploration felt strangely a lot like btow. My gripe is a lack of honor system and the fact you cannot beat the game without breaking the Bushido code (you must go ninja). The story was good, but predictable. A good game that's a lot of fun to play

Perfect in every way
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just completed this game and wow, it is incredible. The setting and story is incredible and the graphics and artwork are contenders for the best on PS4. Combat is super fluid and really makes you feel like you're a samurai. SP exceeded my expectations.

Interesting narrative driven game
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simply put, the game is fun. The world is massive there's lots of stuff to do, and combat is super engaging. The story is good. My only criticism is that choices and play style doesn't affect the game's narrative, but it feels like it should, sometimes.

As Gorgeous as it is Fun
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven’t been this visually impressed with a PS game since Horizon. Great combat, story is excellent, and with the announcement of the free 4 player co-op update that is coming I have a feeling I will be playing this for a long time to come.

Best Game of 2020
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fell in love with the gameplay, the graphics and the scenery only to be topped by a great story. I had just finished being disappointed by The Last Of Us 2 when I picked this up and it was more than I expected. Can’t wait for a sequel

Great Samurai Game!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great samurai game where the main act is saving your Uncle Shimura and following his orders. You instead deviate to become the "Ghost" instead of an honorable samurai. There are loads of side missions and things to do. If you see a fox follow it to honor the shrine to open up a slot for a charm. (You'll understand when you play the game). There are bamboo strikes you accomplish to cut by button press combinations. The story is great, the combat is fair and responsive, the map is huge and loads to discover. The characters are all memorable and you learn a lot about Japan which is cool. One of my favorite PS4 games!!
