I have returned both this camera pack as well as the new doorbell due to lack on integration with the Nest app and problems with battery life on these new products. Decided to go with eufy instead as they have everything I need, and excellent battery life on all products. I would NOT recommend these new Google products to anyonep.

1. Move your camera, router, or other objects that may interfere with the device.

It also is capable of seeing in low light enviornments. It learns faces and notifies you when they are spotted. Very nice addition to my security system!

However, our priority with this launch was building a complete experience for our new cameras and doorbell in the Google Home app. We wanted to make the Google Home app as the one place you can control all your favorite Nest and other smart home devices with the Google Assistant. Here are some benefits you can get by using the Google Home app with your Nest Cam (Battery):
- Automatic security protections, such as Suspicious activity detection, 2-Step Verification and Security Checkup.
- Your Google Nest devices and services will work together. For example, if you have a Nest Cam and a Nest Hub, just say, ""Hey Google, show me the backyard camera” to cast your camera stream to your display without any additional setup.
- One account to sign in to both the Nest and Google Home apps.
- Your homes, and home members will be aligned across the Nest and Google Home apps.

You can use the Nest Cam weatherproof cables (sold separately) which are available in 5m and 10m if you want to plug your camera into an outlet for continuous power. Please note that the power adapter included with the Nest Cam (battery) is not weatherproof and not intended for outdoor use and you can use a compatible weatherproof cable.
