The camera view is wide and clear, day or night. Microphone works well for two-way communication too.

Easy install and setup. Does NOT use legacy nest app, but rather the google home integration app. Major increase in resolution of camera and network speed.

Very hard to install. Doorbell chimes has different wires, etc. If I had known that I would have looked at other brands as well since it's like starting over again. Also, the new model is much bigger and an eyesore that some HOA's may be opposed to. The app doesn't work well either. They migrated over to a new app platform and now I have two doorbells on different apps.

Issues staying online

After a few hours would go back online. This is the only product that would go off line out of all my other security Cams. As of 7-21-23 it went off line and hasn't come back on line. Some of the reviews had the same problem.

Old is gold

This camera captures more vertical frame rather than horizontal. Plus not having Nest compatibilty sucks. Google should add more Home screen customization to their Home app. On the old doorbell I could open the nest app and all of my cameras would load up. On the Google Home app I have to click the camera shortcut button or click the device.
