Well I have upgraded all the google nest products in my home recently and this one was by far the best one out of the bunch. Don't get me wrong all the other products rock also but this one was awesome.
The wide lens on this doorbell captures all of my front yard and some of my next door neighbors front yard. No worries im able to adjust the settings so that im not being bugged with notifications from their home.
But it's a huge improvement from the last door bell I had. Only reason I got this one was cause my older one was a nest app only.

upgraded my previous doorbell and it works great. Even though you need subscription for 24x7 view, I'd still choose that than only have it motion based.

My old camera was not connecting to my camera . It came with the house so it was around 9 years old at that point. Decided to upgrade to this version and the difference it extremely noticeable. The wide angle view is a big game changer because we were gonna add more camera to cover a blind spot by the previous camera but now we dont have to. I also like that the familiar faces were transfered over to the new camera and even though i havent used the ai function as much , its def easier to look for events.

Very nice upgrade from the previous generations. The video quality is noticeably improved and the app user interface is as simple as it has always been.

I upgraded from the 2nd gen nest doorbell. Switching over was super easy as all the mounting parts and wires are exactly the same.
The picture quality and angle are much improved. It's a lot easier to make out more details in faces and objects all around. The face-matching feature works a bit better probably because of this. Sound is high quality and similar to the last generation.
I haven't noticed much of a difference with gemini being integrated, but I imagine I will with more time.

Bought these to replace the first gen Nest Doorbell Cameras. They have made drastic improvements since the first generation. Installation was so much easier. Especially connecting the wireless dongles to your chime. Step by step installation instructions were given through the Google Home App. Picture Quality is also much improved. There is wider field of vision provided as well. Overall this was a great purchase and I am very pleased.

The quality is better than the previous version for sure. The AI is a nice touch, but it's not always right yet. If you have the previous version, I would stick to it since other than the video quality, I don't see a reason to upgrade it.

Had for a month and its fantastic. I will say though if you don't have any google speakers at home and you need your chime to be the main source of notification then you may be disappointed as you may need to purchase a different transformer than your current chime has and hire an electrician to install.

One of the best I've used, with one exception... I use Alexa for routines and google cameras can't be used as a motion trigger. The option is there, but it won't work. I guess this is more of an Alexa failure though. Pretty good and stylish doorbell.
