Excellent thermostat, easily the best looking one on the market. If i could redo it though I wouldn't get stainless steel, the white or black models look a lot better. Also I disable the smart learning feature, while that's their main marketing gimmick here I feel using the robust scheduling interface to set exactly what I want makes more sense - otherwise the device just continually messes with your scheduling any time you deviate from your normal patterns on any given day.

Bought this to see if it will help on energy usage...so far it is very easy to use..takes time for it to learn your patterns. Like that I can change setting from my phone

Good looking thermostat. This is the second time I purchase these. Easy to install, easy to setup and operate.

The nest thermostat is easy to install. It learned our daily routine and sets the temperature according to our presence. The electricity bill has gone down around 15 dollars.

Works great easy access when you are not home.....

This is my second google nest. It is easy to use and looks really good. The best part is that you can control the temp via your smart phone.

Made the switch to a Smart Thermostat and can’t figure out why I waited so long. With a little effort, I now have a warm home whenever I am there, and can control it from literally anywhere via my phone. I don’t have to touch it often, it know my comfort levels and makes changes before I do during my normal routine. Integrated to my Google Assistant AND my IOS. Expensive, but great ROI when you consider comfort important.

In this day and age - your just a web search away from knowing virtually anything and everything about a product your interested in. That being said - instructions were easy to follow for installation. It looks great installed, and is working without any issues so far (going on a couple months now). It saved us on energy usage and the apps works like it should. Can't ask for more for my money.

Love this thing, paired with Alexa is awesome. Can set the ac from bed or on my way home from work. Also there is almost always a rebate from your local power company

We purchased the thermostat over the holidays. Easiest thing to install and the fact that we can control it from anywhere. It is going to pay for itself .

Love being able to control it anywhere. Can lock it for the visiting guest who thought our AC should be set on 74. Only thing is, when replacing another thermostat (mine were Honeywell), be sure and look at the bottom designation/heat pump identities of the wires in order to hook up correctly with this Nest. Otherwise awesome. The provided trim plate isn't very attractive and is simply white so if you need to dress it up, look for a color plate.

We bought one for the first floor last month and had to get one for the upstairs. Great device and with the app it is so easy to adjust the temp even when we arent home.

Bit pricey for what it does, but the ease of use and setup make it worth it. Reliably controls temperature and 'learns' what you prefer, that you pretty much don't even need to use your smartphone to control it.

I love it!!! I am able to view the temperature away from home at all times. Set up and adjust temperature before I get home.

Love having the ability to control my home heating and air from anywhere. My old wall thermostat had timers and was programable but really hard to use. The Nest is real simple to use, program- and after a while it gets to know your habits and pretty much teaches itself how to keep the home comfortable. I also received a rebate from the gas company which is a bonus. and will be saving overall on my heating and air bill now that I am in control. I have other smart home devices like Wink, Ring and Nest carbon dioxide detector which all work well with one another. 100% happy and would recommend the Nest Thermostat.

Excellent step up from the old thermostat we had before. Easy to install and the ability to control the temperature from my phone is great.

I bought this in a bundle package, and was not disappointed. The display is nice, and it is super easy to setup. Using the Nest website's tutorial videos, I was able to swap this out from my old thermostat, and get it programmed in under 10 minutes. The thermostat learns my family's routines, and over time makes adjustments based on what it learns. The display is customize-able with different information. It is very easy to adjust the temperature or switch from heating to cooling. Using the Nest App, you can customize schedules on your own, and there are even "eco" settings, where you can let the thermostat run to a temperature to save you money on your utility bills. I also bought 2 of the optional Nest temperature sensors (because I have a 3-story house). The only downfall to those that I didn't know about is the system can only run, based on which sensor you choose (in my case, I can make it heat my house based on the thermostat on the main floor, or one of the sensors in the basement or on the 2nd floor. But not all 3). I can also control my thermostat/temperatures from my Google Home speakers or displays; along with the app. And, with the Google Home Assistant, you can set up "routines" in there. So when you leave the house, you can make a routine and say something like "I'm leaving", and it would turn down the temperature to an Eco setting.
