Well, it's a Nest Thermostat, and it is everything you read and more. It looks great, works amazingly with my Amazon Echo Dot, saves me money by learning my patterns, and ensuring the best efficiency that i think is possible with my leaky windows. I would highly recommend it. The support from NEST is top notch, and the set up is easy. Once set up you can do what you like, but really it is just a waiting game to let the thermostat learn what you do, when you are home and when you are away, and then sit back and enjoy the benefits.

Items arrived quicker than expected and well packaged. Installation was a breeze. Instructions were straight forward, easy to understand. Took all of 10 minutes to install. The only thing that took awhile was the spackle and paint to dry, due to me deciding not to use the trim plate. Nest looks a lot better without it. Set up was also easy, just follow the prompts. Please check with your gas or electric company for rebates available. I received $50.00 from my gas company for a smart thermostat.

I know its just a thermostat, but its really cool. It has a nice LCD screen that lights up whenever someone walks by it. You can control it from your smartphone or using the interface. I like how I can control it from work if its 90 degrees, and I want the AC to kick in extra early before I come home so the house has enough time to cool. It actually has some built-in technology to try to accomplish the same based on the weather for my location, but I haven't tested that feature yet.

Great thermostat. No issues at all. Best feature is you can control from your phone.

The Nest thermostat is a perfect item when you're always on the go. Just simply turn your system off from your phone while on vacation. All sensors work. Easy to install. Easy to set temperatures. A must have in today's world of technology.

Okay so these Nest units are super easy, but you have to know that your AC unit is right. This one worked but the last house I was in wouldn't work. I ended up with the Ecobee and compared to the Nest it's not nearly as easy to use.

I decided to get a smart thermostat and while I like the way the NEST looked and working I wasn't too keen on the price. So I went with a cheaper but good smart thermostat. I went thru 2 of the first thermostats bc the first one wouldn't work at all the so I returned that one and got another one (same brand) and I couldn't get it to work, I even called an electrician to come over and he still couldn't get it to work. So, I took that one back and went with the Nest thermostat and it was easy to set up and work. I love it!!

Same as the dead bolt. Had one of these thermostats in my old house and when we moved took the one they had out and put this in. At my last house I needed a c wire. This house no problems without a c wire. Like the dead bolt it is a little pricey but worth every penny.

Nest is a fantastic thermostat. Easy to install, easy to program and great way to save energy and start home automation. Highly recommended!

I purchased this to use in a rental home in Florida where i wanted to be able to manage and control somewhat the temperature settings. Easy to install and set up. I wish the sensors were all integrated where they cooled or heated other rooms based on an average like Ecobee does but you have to select each sensor if you want it to be primary. Overall, this will pay for itself in a year in savings from your electric company

Had the Nest thermostat for over a year and I love it. I can set up the temperature from any where. Before COVID, when ever we where out of the house for a long time, we would set the temperature at 78 (summer) and once we were ready to head home, we would adjusted to a more cool temperature for us. The house would be nice and cool by the time we would get home. Also, it was very easy to set up and installed.

We replaced almost 8 years old thermostat, and it was super easy to do! We followed the nest site's guide after telling it which wires we have installed in the wall. After that it spit out how to setup the Nest. We did Drop the nest once and it Survived a title drop and had no cracks on the display! Wi-Fi setup can be a pain though since there is no WPS support so you have to use the dial to spin the letters. If your having trouble with setup on the phone to change temps make sure you Wi-Fi has whitelisted your nest past the firewall!

So easy to use. I can adjust the temp from anywhere with my phone and it really does learn your patters.
