Installation is Quick takes up to 30-40 minutes (watch youtube videos before you buy). Access through phone is new level to control the home temperature. Automated program is little tricky must go through instruction in the area its not so user friendly.

Easy peasy on the install. Took 5 mins. Within 10 up and running. Don't know if energy saving yet. Still within 1 month. Would recommend.

I like that the thermostat learns what we want, but it’s difficult to enter a starting program on my phone. And since it takes a few days for the thermostat to be smart, it’s frustrating.

Even though the 'test' procedure says it should be compatible it is not compatible with modulating furnace blowers. Most new high end furnaces are equipped with modulating blowers for high efficiency, Nest just does 2 speeds, high and low....

So far so good. The only issue is sometimes the app doesn’t realize I’m not home and I have to manually change the settings, otherwise happy with my purchase. Easy to install.

Easy installation, had a lil trouble in the beginning because one wire should not be connected in my system, once I made my call to Nest, Rep Carlos walked me through it and it was solved. Love the fact that if it's to cold, just lie in bed get my cell and raise the temp, It's still learning me and I it. I love it.

Works fine. In CA it doesn't have to do much. The phone app seems to work and the unit works like advertised. it looks nice.

Returned home from a trip and thermostat was fried due to a power outage. Online purchase, pickup, and install couldn't have been easier.

If you have a straight up apartment or 1-zoned house, this is the best product for you. I love the learning ability and the motion sensor. I have a 3-zoned house and sometimes the temp of 1 competes with the other but overall, it is still good.

Great thermostat, easy to hook up and easy to use with the app. Love how you can zone to specific rooms.

This device helped me more in this house as I did not have even a programmable thermostat. The ability to change the temp while I'm away is great as I can run the system very extreme and change it back 4 hours from home and be comfortable when I arrive.
