This is worth the cost for sure, I have saved money each moth so far. Its great when I go out of town or im gone at work because it sets itself to away when I leave and doesn't use AC all day!

I installed this in my new house having used it before. set up was easy. I love the control it gives via the app.

Smart thermostat is the way to go, make sure your current furnace is compatible before buying.

I had a nest with my old HVAC and when I replaced my AC with a new one I thought I would buy a updated Nest thermostat. Come to find out Nest was not compatible with my new AC, so I had to return it. My old AcwasaGoodman and my new one is a Goodman as well but for some reason it would turn the AC on but would be unable to turn it off, so I would have to cut the breaker. Make sure before you buy and check with your Acinstaller if their unit is compatible with Nest.

This thermostat is above and beyond all the rest. It automatically adjusts the temperatures after a while to exactly how you like them at certain times. Great to connect with Google Home as well!

In the winter it helped me to safe money but summer was horrible. I used ac more than last year

Love the Nest but had issues installing because I had to figure out how to power the Nest since our house didn’t have a dedicated constant power wire. We just ran a new wire which wasn’t too bad and all is good now! I just wasn’t expecting the additional work when I purchased one super cold winter night.

First Nest wouldn’t hold a charge so Nest sent a new one. New one was a different color but worked well. Had problem with the heating system short circuiting and issues with the wires. I have an updated home but the infrastructure is old, which caused problems.

So far I’m impressed with this Nest thermostat. I love being able to control it with either my iPhone or my Google Home mini. We’ll see how much energy savings we get from this device.

It makes it sound like its easy and works everywhere. It doesn't the support line was awful and took over 60 min to discover they don't know what they are doing. They ended up trying ot sell me an install service instead of asking a ten second question. In the end I returned it. Wouldn't recommend until you are certain it will work for you.

The best feature is after a few days the Nest has learned my habits and now automatically adjusts the temperature. I like it a few degrees cooler when sleeping and now the Nest automatically does that.

I've wanted a Nest for years now, but finally own my own home to put it in. Having never installed a thermostat before, I did exactly what you shouldn't do...I disconnected all of the wires before noting their location on the old thermostat. In spite of this critical error, using the Nest instructions, the basic configuration seemed consistent with my wiring, and I connected everything, put on the faceplace and fired it up. The Nest walks you through all of the steps you need to be more efficient. It notes weather patterns in your area, it senses the type of system you have, it configures home and away times. It turns out that I had wired my system for a heat pump, something I do not have. It noticed this right away, and after one more switch-off of the breaker, I had all of the wires in the right place. Since having the Nest, I've noticed that the home temperature is very consistent. The Airwave (cooling function shutoff) feature is very effective and the house is always within our specifications. I've only turned the dial on the Nest once in the past week since it was installed. And of course, I changed the temperature up and down on my mobile phone, just for fun. We haven't gotten into heat season yet, but I have a feeling with the up and down temperatures here in Colorado, that the nest is really going to help. No more switching back and forth from hot to cool throughout the day. Just set it, and let the temperature determine the function. Oh, and it looks just as awesome as I predicted it would on the wall. We used the mounting plate to cover up the previous thermostat holes. I've seen others at friends houses that did not have such plates (Gen 2), and the holes, no matter how well you patch, were still obvious.

this was the first smart item I got for my home. Nest CS was on point they were on the phone for me for a long period of time and even waited till I finished installing the thermostat.

It’s modern look and run like a smartphone and able to control temperature on internet

The cheaper thermostat is beyond horrible so i went back to buy the better thermostat.

This product was very easy to install and works great.
