It's a great thermostat. I love that it integrates with Google Home. I can just say "Hey Google, set the AC to 76", and she sets away. My only gripe is that the historical data for power usage is seemingly limited to a 9- to 11-day window.

Terrible,it wouldn't even connect to wifi or hold a memory for date and time,5 days of trying to figure out what was wrong with it i finally gave up and returned it..

Purchased this item hoping it would control my high electricity bills in the summer. Well, it runs more than the Honeywell I had before and it's always hot in my house. Thinking about putting the old one back to have a cool home again.

Wasn't sure about the fact that it learns your bahaviors. Once I got the hang of it....i love it! Wouldn't use any other thermostat!

Love my Nest.. Had a Honeywell wifi thermostat prior. It seems really cheap in comparison to the Nest. May be the reason it broke.

Great product but has some serious power issues. If your WiFi is inconsistent it drains the battery and you come home to no thermostat and no way to power your ac. Needs some definite work in this area.

I was very sceptical about the nest, and waited a long time before purchasing one. My hvac usage has dropped significantly.

If you are looking to save money and do it yourself, you can do it. The video demonstrations and the step by step guide is bar none.

A key item for the smart home. I have 2 and use them with SmartThings. I use with baseboard heaters in a basement and it saves a ton on heating cost. Love the ability to turn the heat on when I leave from work and walk in to a warm home.

This is so helpful now when remembering to adjust the thermostat is just one more problem of ageing in place.

Mine went out after a year, and the customer service is pretty bad about resolving issues. I replaced it with a newer models last year and haven’t had a problem yet

I know nothing about installing electrical stuff and this was so simple and great instructions and did it in 30 min. Unfortunately I ended up returning this because it seems to have a mind of its own. I read all trouble shooting called tech support (who were great) but the safety temp setting cannot be adjusted to a safety temp of my choice.my house got so cold I feared pipes would burst from freezing outside temperatures. Our furnace broke shortly after installing the Nest and had to get an HVAC guy out to fix it. I found another thermostat for $130 less, just as easy to install and has been much better in terms if use and has tighter temperature controls.

Set is easy. It walks you through the whole process. Even taking pictures. Just be careful not to touch the wire tips together and you should be good to go.

So far i have had the nest thermostat for about 2 months. I can say that i am pleased with the result. Im sure it will take sometime before it can learn my routine and start saving me money. But automative engineering is the way to go.

It’s worth. Using it for past 4 months and drastica change in electricity bill because I can monitor the usage.
