I have had a couple Nest thermostats in my house for about 3 years. They are fairly easy to use and quite intuitive, especially when paired with the mobile app. I had one of my 2nd generations thermostats develop some sort of problem (began to heat up, couldn't detect temperature, turned on the heat instead of the A/C--a general meltdown) so I bought the 3rd Generation as a replacement. I agree with most online reviews that say that gen 3 is an incremental improvement--mostly cosmetic--and generally not at all worth an upgrade from gen 2. Still, this version is more visible from a distance if that's something you care about. The "works with Nest" compatibility family is a neat thing, and I do use that as a pretty big part of the connected "smart" home I've put together. However it's not a substitute for a dedicated home controller like SmartThings or (my choice) Homeseer. Nest does worth with those just fine. I've never tried Ecobee or the other competitors, but the Nest product line is a solid choice and certainly has an aesthetic appeal compared to a more traditional thermostat.

I like that I can adjust the thermostat when I am at work. The installation was very simple. Just follow the instructions. It learns your patterns and it has been great so far.

Great product. Love that I can change the temp from my phone, and schedule with ease. Did the Mass Save rebate and got half my $ back.

One of my many NEST products I use in my home and business. The thermostat was very easy to install and it is great to have remote control of my heating/cooling system when I'm gone.

Very easy to install. Took a while to get a charge recommend charging before installing. Beware as it will also start operating as it learns. We have found the temps changed quite a few times as it was following the schedule it learned.

Bought this to replace a non functional unit. Being used on a two stage unit. Works well and relatively easy to setup, good instructions.

Easy to setup. In comparison to ecobee I prefer Nest thermostat better. Package with sensors and you can monitor the temperature in multiple rooms of your home. Also you can look back 10 days and see how long your unit ran each day. Scheduling is easy as well or you can use the self learning mode. Check with your local electric company for rebates on having a smart thermostat

Great product. Easy to set up and easy to use even though I have a heat pump and took a few minutes to figure out the wiring.

The setup process was very easy. The nest site helped me decide on my wiring. Installation took just a few minutes. Getting it connected to my wifi and to the companion app was super easy.

I have been wanting a smart thermostat for a while and bought 2 for my home recently. Had both units installed in less than an hour. So far they have exceeded my expectations

I have been considering getting a Nest Thermostat for serval months now after reading reviews and how the product can save you money. I opened the package and the install couldn't have gone more smoothly. Everything I needed for my application was present and it frankly took longer to uninstall my previous one than it did to install my Nest. The physical set up of the product in terms of software was a breeze. Easy to set up the mobile application as well. I can tell already how much more efficiently my furnace is running. The thermostat was quick to learn my and my wife's habits and adjust to them. It keeps my fan running only when needed and gets the house nice and warm before bed.

So far so good with this device. Easy to install and looks good on the wall. We are still learning how it works but are happy with it.

We bought this to replace an older thermostat. We like that this one can be connected to WiFi and hooked up to our google nest we can operate this from just about anywhere using our phone or tablet. I love how I can just speak to my google nest and tell it to turn up or down . The only thing I don’t care for is the ECO mode, because I prefer to change the temperature when needed.

Easy to install. I can now regulate my home temperature from anywhere. Waiting for the learning part to adapt.

Love this thing. Easy to install and so convenient to have! Love being able to be anywhere and check my temp or turn on the a/c on my way home to come into a cool house.

Must have thermostat for smart home, nice look and easy to use.

So far i still learning but is the best thermostat i ever used. I have two one in each floor. Easy to use and it look great in the wall
